someone stop this fella

edit: make a fmech, most hated class ever and no one likes them. If I could ever find a fmech, I'd swear they chose the wrong class by mistake. I am sorry.

People can't even ask questions now?

LOL, I wasn't serious. Battle Mage actually isn't a very good class for people new to DFO. :/
But basically, chasers are little energy ball things that pop up when you complete an attack. With these chasers you can use them inbetween attack combos, IE: Normal Attack chain -> shoot off a chaser -> Weapon Upper (make a chaser) -> shoot off a chaser -> palm blast (makes a chaser) -> shoot off a chaser.

Very fast paced battlin'

If you're new, I suggest maybe a slayer subclass. They are equally played, depending on which style of play you like (PvE vs PvP)

slayers are horrible and are a sin to be cleansed off of the planet etc

I have one as you can tell

Ok, I agree it sounds hard. Now I understand why the witch class is labelled as hard... I guess I'll make a grappler, since I just read there weren't a lot and they're labeled as normal difficulty.

Edit: My old character was a slayer, and I found him quite boring... Got him to lv 17 when this goblin pad crap blocked me from trading anything with this account T.T

Edit 2: IGrabMobs was created! Got her to lv 2 and will play more tomorrow... Thanks for the tips!
This guild seems to have just about every subclass, and from what I've seen in-game there's always a person for any sub-job outside of the guild anyways. So there aren't really any underrated classes in this game. The real issue is leveling far enough to even enjoy it realistically and playing it right, depending if it's spec'd for PvE/P.

Why does your set match and mine is all JUMBLED???
Hey guys,

I haven't played DFO since like 2-3 months after release, but I think I'm going to play it again for a little bit. I'm totally lost, though. Some questions:

- What changes were made to witches since a year ago? My cast speed seems to have doubled. I seem to remember Acid Rain taking forever to cast.
- I have a bunch of GBL Laboratory quests, but it says the area is level 45-47. I'm level 36. Did they change the level of that area?

Also, I forget how the whole spec system works for witches. There's like 4 elements, right? I remember I was speccing for PvP but I didn't want to hurt my PvE abilities too badly. I think it was a Dark/Fire/Ice build. Or maybe Dark/Light/Ice. I completely forget how anything works now.

Steering them away from really bad things at least ok.

Mark Wrote:Why does your set match and mine is all JUMBLED???

Because it is very pretty and shines of stars and sex, unlike your ugly and fat heavy armor.

To answer this: Yes they have.

Yay!

Leveling to 10, not 11 like the screenshot may suggest.

I read it off the link that capricorn posted.

A lot of changes were made to witches, the general way they went was the decreased the duration of certain skills but increased their damage output overall. I know they changed leather armor mastery as well so that might be the difference you're noticing in cspd.

GBL maps were changed to 45-47 from what they used to be. Nowadays level 36 is a grind level, so it's not unusual you wouldn't have any other quests. If you need/want help you could always message me...most of the time I'm willing to help

http://www.dfosource.com/forum/mage/4951...ledge.html <--that gives a pretty good look at witches if you have any questions or refreshers on where you were going with your build.

hope this helped.

I didn't see any videos showing the newest patch changes that Monks will get, such as the two extra hits to Heavenly Combo.

Uh, crap, my focus is in Dark/Light/Ice with no points in Befriend: Jack O' Lantern and I have 4 points in Acid Rain and 1 in Lava Potion. Not really sure what I was going for. I think the idea was to lay down AoEs to control positioning and focus on melee combos. It worked fine a while back but I dunno what all these patches have done to that strategy.
This fatigue system is annoying. I only could get my fighter to 14 before being out of points. I made a witch, who will become a summoner. Her name is Gandalfette ^^.

Also, these hell knights are some OP'ed sh'it. I can clear a whole dungeon without doing anything at my level. I only get a bad rank, but w/e...
