AAANnd I just found yet another way to make it easier. Snow and Ice. Scaffolding you can melt.
... I shall return. If anyone wants to use that pit next to my place let me know now. I'll be flooding it for a lake and dam if no one else gets an idea for it. Might put a single tower in the center of it from the top to the lowest point in the map before doing that, but otherwise I've dropped plans for it.

"Him" got a name, he's called herobrine and is a hoax, i read a creepy-pasta story about him somewhere.
But yea, wasn't prepared for it and got shocked x.x
To sum up what i read:
He's the basic minecraft character who runs around in your maps and build stuff, you'll find 2x2 tunnels and the likes and stuff that is without a doubt man-made. Whenever you see him he'll be running around at the edge of the 'fog' and can only be seen if you got fog on. And herobrine is the brother of notch or something something.
Just some creepy-paste.
Edit: he's even on minecraft wikipedia: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Herobrine

I got one of my friends to buy it. He really liked the Bioshock map recreation video of it, so he finally relented. Just when Minecraft was being DDoS'd though...

Notch took the initiative to get DDoS protection services, and upgraded the server hardware.  Which can all be read in his Tumblr. But it's nice to see he's taking fast action towards these things. (*Cough Nexon* .. Just sayin)

Global Nexon still sucks , But that's not this thread is about anyways, back on topic. I can't wait for the Halloween Update, I hope monsters will be fixed along with Minecarts and doors.. I have so many fortresses set up and ready for when the monsters come out. Lava Moats included! :B
