Watching a bunch of oldies while I wait for zero no tsukaima F to finish up. Hate having to wait after each episode D:

So I'll be watching:
Stein;Gate
Natsume Yujincho (seasons 2 & 3)
Nichijou (maybe)
Mayo Chiki! (maybe)
Bunny Drop (maybe)

Any good recommendations from last seasons stuff (or prior) that I should watch?
I've watched almost nothing that came out in the last year.

I'm about 3 episodes into Nichijou and so far, so good.
Considering Mayo Chiki is completely out of my realm of typical viewing, I watched about two-thirds of it and it was funny, at least. Didn't finish it, just stopped watching one week as I often do with shows like that. If you're into the whole ecchi/romance/comedy shtick you should like it.

Unmentioned solid shows from the year (Winter 2011-Finished Fall 2011 shows):
Level E was solid. Funny and entertaining. A goofball mix of aliens, humor, and action.
AnoHana was top notch drama-stuffs. Manly tears, manly tears.
UN-GO started a little weak with some episodic/formulaic mystery but then hit a solid stride of stories that loosely strung together into something rather gripping and it ended as a well-made show with an art style and set of characters I quite liked.
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica turned the magic girl idea on it's head and was a rather glorious, brooding affair.
Deadman Wonderland was an entertaining action gore-fest.
Redline (movie) was an obscenely stylish, very fun watch which I recommend.
The Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail OVAs also wrapped up, if you liked Black Lagoon.

Going back just a little farther to Fall 2010, Kuragehime was a spectacular slice-of-life/comedy. That's a big seal of approval for me, given that it's not my usual genre. Panty and Stocking was also a funny-as-hell and very weird show. If the Powerpuff Girls was a deplorable sex comedy, that would be Panty and Stocking.

Approve. But it would have been interesting to see a live action Akira movie. Just not what they were proposing.

Dropped New Prince of Tennis. Not interesting to me in the least, probably because I've already read it and it hasn't gone very far. Season's starting though! AMAGAMI SOON.

P4 Ep 13 - Oh man. This episode was so embarrassing. Anyway, at the end I was like "HEY! YOU CAN'T JUST END THIS WITHOUT GIVING US ANSWERS!", then realised from the preview that the next episode would be about the events that occurred in the same time frame, but from Yu's perspective instead.

Yu's either running some counselling service and/or tuition class. The latter wouldn't explain what that old lady was doing there though...

Kill Me Baby 01: Lol. Seriously... just lol.

Kill Me Baby - 1 - .......I wanted this show to kill me after watching this. BOOOOOOOORINGGGGGGGGG. Dropped.

Having read the manga, I can say that it's going to be...fanservicey. Fanservice from a grade-schooler and two(?) junior high girls (lol loli). Well, there's the occasional buxom woman, but other than that it's just a story of a poor college student burdened with the responsibility of being a surrogate father to his (missing) older sister's three daughters and how he copes with it all.

Kill Me Baby 01: I'm not sure if I could have sat through that without doing something else, but it was pretty good to have running in the background. About what I expected and I enjoyed it.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear 01: The end of the episode, SO HARDCORE. Other than the idea that they have to literally sing to be able to do stuff, which is exceedingly obnoxious, I think this has some good potential. Not sure if them revealing she's dead in the first minute was a good idea since either she now dies, or they have to play a revival card. I hope this show isn't completely full of flashbacks.

Amagami SS+ 01: AYATSUJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIHNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Brings out the M in me.

Persona 13: I don't understand what happened, but I want to watch some Milky Holmes now.

Highschool DxD 01: I don't understand...

Only able to watch 1 new show for the Winter 2012 season so far. Haven't finished first season of Amagami SS, and ZnT4 hasn't been subbed yet.

Highschool DxD 01 - The entire time watching this I could only hear Shu. This is essentially the "Maken-Ki" of this season. Though from what I've read in the novels and manga, I'm pretty sure this'll be much better. Though mostly I'm just glad AT-X is airing it almost completely uncensored compared to how it was completely censored for Maken-Ki and Maji Koi from last season. Either way, enjoyable first epi. Rias is hnnng.

Shakugan no Shana III 13 - I have nothing else to say other than this season is just getting better, and better.

Highschool DxD - 1 - Guess what the D's in the name are representative of? Seriously though, the action seems above average for what you would think to see in a show like this, but Ill have to see a more action focused episode to really judge. One complaint; whenever Rias moved around and her boobs jiggled, there was a really awkward "fap" sound. I find it weird for some reason....

Still waiting for ZnT4 to be subbed, and haven't made progress on Amagami SS. I can't get myself to finish Sae's arc, just don't like her.

Mouretsu Pirates 01 - Not entirely sure what to think about this yet. Definitely not my usual show (seems romance won't play a role in it), and I've not watched any shows in space yet, but it was somewhat interesting. Looks like the next episode will be action packed, so that'll be cool.

Nisemonogatari 01 - Dat Senjougahara. Dat Hachikuji. Hilarious first episode. Only finished season 1 a few days ago but I was already missing everything about the show by the time I got to watch this. So awesome.

I don't like ANY of the changed hairs in nisemono. But I already knew that a long time ago. CHARACTER PROGRESSION is not always a good thing.
