As always, Attack Speed is virtually useless to our Hurricane/AFA combo because it only affects our pickup speed. While GG means we are guaranteed to restart every 15 seconds, it's affect is still very negligible in 1v1 scenarios. It doesn't affect summon attack delays either.

It does however provide a significant boost to Ultimate Inferno since BMs usually only reach Fast 4. I haven't done the math, but I would estimate it to be on the order of a 10% damage boost. If I remember correctly, you're already 200 so UI damage probably shouldn't be a priority.

As for buff duration, I did the math here and determined we need 30% bd total for 100% stance, after we get lvl2 Knight's Watch. So you have more than enough for that already.
15+% bd is common enough that I would recirculate and shoot for bd + anything decent or %boss.

I'd keep it while stocking up on circulators.

Jeez a 10% damage boost to UI does sound pretty nice, but personally I am trying to get what you recommended, bd and %boss. Considering I can barely get through Azwan without dc'ing, that might take a while lol.

Are you dcing from the totem OHKOs? I noticed having elite puppet out when getting hit by those causes a crash 100% of the time. I'll also mention Passive Skills +1 is really good for us. It doesn't beat S rank %boss, but it's much better than most.

most of the people i asked yesterday when i got the IA said to circ over it since hurricane is always the same regardless of boost and the pickup delay is pretty negligible

You're a BM? Use Hurricane more than UI? Aiming for more %Boss? Then drop that +1 IAS IA. It will increase your overall DPS by up to 10% only for non-rapidattack skills.

Using puppet on almost anything that does fixed damage will cause you to crash.

Your damage increases by about 9.1% for Ultimate Inferno, if you go from fast(4) to fast(3). It's not always 10% for each speed up, and it depends on the delay of the skill because of how rounding is applied to delays. Here's the math for Ultimate Inferno:

Delay (Normal(6)): 810ms

Delay (Fast(4)):
810ms * (10+4)/16 = 708.75
(Round up to the nearest multiple of 30)
708.75/30 = 23.625 (Round this number up to the nearest whole number)
24 * 30 = 720ms
Attacks per second (Fast(4)):
1000ms/720ms = 1.38888...

Delay (Faster(3)):
810 * (10+3)/16 = 658.125
658.125/30 = 21.9375
22 * 30 = 660ms
Attacks per second (Faster(3)):
1000ms/660ms = 1.5151...

Increase in attacks (Per Second):
1.5151.../1.3888... = 1.090909...
This is the same as:
1000/660
------------
1000/720

which is equal to 720/660, which is the initial delay divided by the new delay.

RA bosses do not crash anyone when puppet is used

I do not remember ever crashing from puppet in RA. The worst that happens to me in there is the issue with Vellum's hitbox.

RA boss and Magnus do not do fixed damage. If I understand correctly, their attack is based on your max hp, but still mitigated by your defense. This implies that %hp -> attack/matt before damage is dealt rather than fixed damage per se.

In any case, I can guarantee that puppet has never caused crashes at RA bosses or Magnus.

Ah so that's how the boosters work? (10 + x)/16? Finally I learnt something that I've been dying to find out all the time. I did a rough calculation in some other thread, which came the the same conclusion: nothing more than 10% increase in DPS.

Ffffffffffff-.

My luck stinks, I've used about 7k or so special circs with my honor sitting at level 75 and I still don't have attack speed or S rank % boss damage. Frown S rank % Crit rate would be nice too but I can't seem to get anything useful.

The worst part is that you need to keep working at it or else you'll get to try that with cash when Unlimited is out. I'm feeling the crunch now too and I'm debating just dedicating one or two days to complete Aswan-ing just to have better IAs.

Mhm. x is the weapon speed after applying booster and other speed boosts. All the delays in extractions are at Normal(6), so you're essentially doing a conversation from (10+6) to (10+x). Then you have to round up to the nearest multiple of 30, which is why the damage increase isn't just OldSpeed/NewSpeed, so the final delay is pretty much 30 * ceil[(delay * (10+x)/16)/30)].

I knew about the steps of 30ms, and I wrote about it here but I had to use Lazybui's numbers as a crude estimate. So while I did arrive at a similar conclusion, gaps of knowledge led to a decrease in accuracy of calculations. But I'm glad you informed me about this.

Its actually not as bad as you make it sound like, but yes attack speed will be in IMPOSSIBLE to get without legendary tier.

This is how it will work:

You will have 3 lines with the same rank, at the top it will display which rank you have. You got rare, epic, uniq and legendary. If you have any S rank before the patch, your skills will turn into legendary, which can only change with the cubes in cash shop. While all other circulators will turn into one type. You can use these to raise your rank up to unique, but it can also drop the rank. If you were lucky to get up to unique you'll be stuck with A rank values untill you decide to cube it, thats the only way to get S rank after the patch Im afraid. But with bosses dropping circulators and honor exp thingies dropping outside of Aswan, it wont be that hard to get uniq rank, problem is keeping it.
