Very quick, uneventful, blah day. Finished on IRC with a few of these kids and ended up finally just giving in and buying an external hard drive and big enough flash drive from Amazon to finally update my OSX, because pomegranate's getting ridiculous. Then of course ALDO has 40% off today only the only pair of shoes I want from them right now, so I buy those too.

Ugh. Never living with Indians again.

Playing bingo with old people tonight too!

The funeral was nice. Had so much fun with my family, now that i'm old enough to actually drink with them and have a laugh with them I really enjoyed spending time with them.

Currently very, very drunk.

Today was just amazing the nicest TA marked my Physics quiz and gave me full marks and just ugh bless his soul.

Also went on a coffee date with a friend and chatted and it was really fun and I think I'm developing a legitimate crush??? which is exciting because I haven't taken a real interest in anyone in over a year so woo!

Things seem to be looking up. Finally.

What an amazing day.

I'll admit during the reading of the vows, staring into each other's eyes...I had to fight really hard to keep the tears back. Overall though, this is one day I will always remember. Can't believe I am finally married to the one person I know deep down is the perfect match for me.

As for me, today has been a torpedo of emotions and reality hitting me harder than I allow it to most days. I'm feeling lost. And I'm not being challenged in any way. This is a difficult day, but a necessary one. Moving forward will be difficult, but it's happening.

Overheard on Thursday from back home that someone I knew lost his fight against leukemia. His leukemia came back the 4th time a few months back, and it was very devastating to hear he didn't make it after a 11-year fight against this dreadful disease. Hundreds of people from my hometown are in mourning right now. Many were impacted were his story (including me), and supported him along the way whatever possible. Upon hearing the news, I almost broke down in tears, because I didn't know that he wasn't going to make it - details that I did not know until yesterday.

I have personally met him a few times. While I don't know him personally, in the few times I met him, I noticed he funny guy all around, never letting multiple bouts of leukemia take away the fun and humor he brought to himself and others he met in his short, but meaningful life. His fight taught me to enjoy life at its fullest and never to constantly complain about little negative things happening in life. Truly something that I'll be keeping in mind now and in the in the coming weeks and years.

I'll sorely miss him. RIP

Yea, I should stop kidding myself.

My OS dun got corrupted so I'm left with reinstalling 7 and pretty much adding back a whole load of stuff...Hell, better break out the ol' desktop. I need to get some excel worksheets done! Rawr.

Went out to the club again tonight. High light of my night: being sandwiched between a hot asian and a topless latin, grinding and traveling hands all included. Though, Friday nights seem to be pretty dead compared to Saturdays.

My roommate is moving out.

Ended up at one of our gay clubs again last night with my really good friend Emily. Ran into another friend Stew there (that's her nickname), and she basically dumped her friend Karl on me, who proceeded to be a gross, terrible kisser and really bad grinder. Ugh. It really annoys me when I can't have gross people leave me alone to dance with my friend, and insist on shoving their PBR at me to get me more drunk. Just an upsetting moment of the night.

Just been talking to Mr. Sweden for an hour or two over facebook.
He's really upset about his breakup but has nobody to talk to, Lo and Behold, I arrive out of the mists to give him a shoulder to cry on.

We are meeting on monday to talk over coffee, then going to watch a fireworks display together :3
we've also made plans to go to the cinema to watch a horror film. (Rick will be pleased to hear this)

Ah don't worry, I definitely wouldn't do anything to rush him. I'm just happy that i'm the person who gets to be there for him, and he definitely seems to want to spend more time with me, and i'm more than happy to oblige.
