I think the reasoning some people have against that "triangle" is that psychic can't do actual damage to a dark type pokemon, whereas fire types can still do damage against water types (even if it's minuscule).

Well, when you first receive your starter, they always have a normal type attack at lv5, you could just use that against the rival's starter instead of using 'not very effective' attacks.

Just the way it moves. My previous predictions were Ghost or Dragon. And honestly if Sylveon is Dragon then WOW did they dissapoint all of us because a Dragon type Eevee has so much potential in appearance (should be awesome looking). And Ghost, it's not only not floating but it's surrounded by a meadow full of flowers.. not very "Ghost-like" not to mention it's in pure daylight. So, Normal makes sense now, or Flying. (MAYBE Bug. Just to put that out there.)

It was just a screenshot of the episode taken at a very bad time. the artwork of this series looks incredibly sloppy. this episode even featured flashbacks to the very first series of Pokemon with Brock and Misty where Ash finds Charmander, but it was done in the art style of this series. and it looked WORSE than the original series, after all these years.

The anime has really lost it's charm I think.

Charizard is a recurring character, when was the last time we saw pidgeot or primape?
Other than that, they should really time skip Ash and let him go, seeing an almost champion being beaten by newbs is awful.

We haven't seen pidgeot or primeape since they were left.
I wish ash would make a dreamteam of all his strongest pokémon and just massacre a league, but noooooooooope, he never does that.
His snorlax for example has statistically never lost a battle without taking atleast one enemy down with it.

Butterfree wasn't especially strong though, i was more talking about the pokémon he left behind that are championship material. Ash could've won the unova league, IIRC he even lost to someone who mocked him for not having evolved and strong pokémon.

Unpopular opinions time:

- If Ash weren't an idiot, he'd win pretty much all the time. To be honest, I think Ash winning all the time would make for better watching material than the current anime.
- Charizard is the most overrated Pokemon in the series. Who cares if it's off-model? At least it doesn't look like the Gen 1 sprites.

I think they said they were experimenting with a variation of the Pain Filter, but not sure if that was confirmed or not.
