How can the drama/ego/affinity of each server be best described as?

Broa: So many previous and existing hacker problems, we haven't found much time to get pissed at each other over little things. Unless you are/were/might be a hacker. In that case, we're peeved.

Khaini is filled with drama pretty consistently. At least, it used to be. There's a guy named Ed (RAWRitzED) who smegas for hours on end fighting with people. It becomes pretty volatile sometimes.

Also KhainiPriest likes to try and start things via smega on occasion. Otherwise it's a nice server. Filled to the brim with leechers and hackers, though, which is pretty gross.

windia's pretty good, from my perspective. there's a guy named cj that everyone either hates or likes, but other than that i dont think there's much drama.

*shrugs* with good friends any server is good. When i was scanian i hated it, but that was for a different reason (wicked lag)

Khaini... meh.

Being one of the original Khainians though, I know virtually every other high lvl person (although not necessarily by IGN).

I was never really part of any of Mardia's drama, except for a rather famous feud between two people a while ago. Most of the 1st gen people have quit, and the ones remaining are really nice IMO. There are always exceptions of course. I have a lot of pride being Mardian, but that is just me, I don't know about what other people think. xD

Broa used to be good then it kinda went downhill...either way I'm never leaving Broa. Even if she mistreats me I still love her. ^_^

I really don't know how you guys in crowded servers can stand it. Some days every single channel in Scania will be clear full, and Mardia is lucky to be at half level. Do you guys ever get to see a Pianus? Or a Headless Horseman? How about a a Jr. Balrog?

Mardia is a server that doesn't fill up CH1 FM1 with shops. Other than the main training maps (newts come to mind) you can usually find an empty map (or 13). Yes we only get 13 channels. !!! !!! FIX IT NEXON GIVE US BACK OUR CHANNELS !!! !!!

Some people say that Mardia economy is worst in Maple Story, but I don't have any other reference to go off of. I do know that Haxxors have "changed" the economy. Ilbis are 4.9 mil now and Horn Tail drops are cheap.

We also need some more pirates. Please come to Mardia and make a pirate.

Kradia = massive people2pass mentality, but competitiveness instead of hostility, meaning less clashing of inflated egos.

dont think thats right anymore, its mostly a bit boring at the top, some ppl leveling, mostly nice ppl if you get to know them, but not really a big happy bunch of ppl either.. rarely any big drama anymore, its rather quiet compared to other times..

i think ppl are growing tired of 1. leveling and 2. drama..

for the rest we have the usual ht hackers fking up the server but they are kinda getting ignored lately..

in short: nice server if you want to get to know some ppl from a bigger range of levels from 200-50, not that much drama, some really enthausiastic people, and a lot of nice ppl blend between some less nice people but in general nobody really sticks out for being an uber drama bish that fks up the server.

windia had massive "first gen" ego... i think it's mostly vanished, though. i'm sure some people still try to use it to their advantage. (worst part is when someone does that to me and i inform them my character was created the day windia was opened--oops.)

i dunno, windia is pretty boring. we've had our drama, but eh. higher levels are pretty closely connected from what i've seen--separation factor is less than six degrees. most people are friendly if you talk to them...though we don't have many of those rare gem sweet types, the ones that help out random nublets..

Khaini is kinda unstable. We have the famous KSers (Chelly, Chuck), strongest hero and GMS, and some other stuff. You can kinda describe Khaini as a silent killer. Although you don't hear much about us, a lot of important things happen here, both good and bad.

Something about how supposedly the first people to level on the server should be the best, mostly has to do about pride on getting server firsts. If later people (considered 2nd generation or later) get it first, it supposedly causes crap loads of drama, and in some cases the "1st gen" people would quit because their e-peens have been deflated. It's usually why people are so grind-happy whenever a new server opens: they want to get that top spot.

Yeah, and it's been that way for a longgg time.
I came from Yellonde and it was dead when I left, and probably remains that way today.

Before Yellonde I was in Khaini and it was pretty, eh. Seemed like everyone knew everyone else and we had plenty of "power guilds" or whatever. But I like it.

I think all servers are kinda the same. Except some have more hackers than others. Other than that every server has power guilds and KSers and notable people and what-not.

Scania's not as bad as people seem to think it is. The only real problem is finding a map during 2x events. Other than that it's pretty normal.

I've been to other servers and I much prefer the crowdidness of Scania. I feel like i'm playing an MMO by myself in other servers. In khaini, the FM only fills up to ch 2 fm 1. In scania the FM fills up to ch 10 fm 1, and ch 19 fm1, and almost every ch 1 FM. It's great

I view the generation thing as more of how long you have been playing the game. First generation people know pretty much everything that happened in the game, all the releases, glitches, hacking outbreaks, while more recent generations might think that the D/C hack is the worst we've had it.

Just to add to this... there easily was a time when "certain" players would use unfair advantages in their favor, and clean out every single Pianus, Bigfoot, Headless Horseman, Anego, and every other boss worth training on. Lately, these players have curbed their activities, so it has been easier to find these bosses, but you still get the occassional days where every channel is free of afformentioned bosses.

Ch 1 FM 1 in Mardia is always full of shops. Usually the random permit shopkeeps are just people holding a spot for their friend and his or her shop.

And the 1st gen vs. 2nd/3rd gen stuff really went away after Horntail was legitimately killed in Mardia (I believe our HT anniversary is sometime this month.) After this, most of the "e-peen" players either quit or signed on rarely, so with them went the egos.

Frankly, I don't know if you can accurately describe Mardia anymore, as it is (and always will be) in a state of flux. The hacker problem is out of hand, though.

You can't with Mardia, you can't with any server, I don't see why people still cannot see this.

Looking at this thread, it is basically true. All servers have the same frameset of drama for the basically same reason/cause. The same problems, and so on. You say that "Server X is all drama", and say "Server Y has no drama" and be accurate, cause that's horsepomegranate.

You can mark all the server as "Drama whores" for all I care. Because you're gonna have the same problems, you're just surrounded by different people. However, the certain thing that causes drama is still there. And that is human nature.

just because all the fm channels arent full doesn't mean the training maps aren't. We need 19 channels so we will have more of the "good" ones. Nexon needs to take care of their servers before making new ones.

yeah, it's very clique-y. It's pretty much impossible for rising players to break into it.
