Chaos Scrolls and Magatia

even a really really small chance makes it hard for me to believe that no one has an SS of a chaos dropping there.

In Mardia i've been training my nub on cube slimes for over a week and haven't seen one. I also havent seen a single other player enter the map.

Anyway,someone posted the following list of interesting drops from Magatia monsters. Sorry don't remember who. But I checked the monster book data, and it agrees. Also confirms that only some Magatia monsters can drop chaos scrolls.
Cube Slime: 60% chaos, 100% overall str
Homun: 60% chaos
Homunculus: 60% helmet int
Neo Huroid: 60% top luk, 100% shield luk
Reinforced Mithril Mutae: 60% earring dex, 100% helmet dex
Roid: 10% earring luk
Site: 1% clean slate
Triple Rumo: 100% top str

Uhh, all monsters in kMS do NOT drop chaos scrolls.

I trust the monster book drop list. Zombie mushrooms & cold eyes drop chaos scrolls 100%, and both are confirmed by monster book.

You can't really say it's a glitch because we're all just assuming Nexon wouldn't want them to drop. Maybe they do? We don't know. The event quest items dropping is a quest-related glitch, not so much a drop table one (Though it could be fixed by taking those items out of the drop list as well).

Also I think it's ridiculous to say that by adding one item from gachapon to the regular drop tables, there would be a noticeable decline in gachapon sales. It's not like Chaos Scrolls are the only valuable item in Gachapon, you know. White Scrolls, Chairs, other hard to find/non-dropping scrolls... I doubt one or two monsters dropping Chaos Scrolls at an extremely low rate is going to impact Gachapon at all. If you want a Chaos Scroll, and you have the money, Gachapon is still going to be a lot more likely to get you one, and it'll be faster. If you don't have money, then you wouldn't be buying Gachapon anyway, so you didn't matter.

yeah, pretty sure this was all old info. I reposted that cube slimes drop chaos's(according to monsterbook data, since drop tables were copied) at least twice on SW, and im sure i heard it here first. I know fiel had the KMS monsterbook data extracted, then when Nexon america slapped him, he decided better safe then sorry and took it down, then someone(cant remember who) reposted and i DLed. If anyone has that, just look through it at various magatian monsters. Helm dex 60/100, bottom dex/top luck 60s/100s(dont think both for both, but cant remember which for which lol). Helm INT 60s drop from the Homunscullo's or w/e, the rare ones. Hopefully if we get the boss there is drops same scrolls, that'd be nice.

i can asure the chaos scrolls used to drop from magatia monsters when magatia was released, my friend got 1 training his pirate there, also topwear luk 60% and helmet int 60% drop as well (i got a helm int 60% doing magatia quests) and know few ppl who got topwear luk 60%. few SCs after magatia release i tried hunt cube slimes, but not because chaos i was after the one-handed sword forging stimulator (crystal blade +_+), did 5 nights with 2x drop and i got all the drops include on kms data (except the chaos scroll, over str 100% and pole acc 100%) maybe i am unlucky or the rate is really low, or is not droping anymore... btw all the maps now are empty i barely see anyone training on magatia anymore and i believe all the questers must be finish their quests already. i guess they still drop but because the low popularity of magatia plus the really low drop rate is almost impossible to someone get anything there

Well I hope its slow enough not to deflate the price of chaos scrolls, they're reinflating alot slower than I thought they would

And yea, Chaos Scroll is listed. It's probably just the fact that even finding one is so rare, very few people have actually found one. It would make sense why there aren't any screenies - of the few people who have found one, they didn't bother to take one and might not even be active on forums.

Another Nexon's mistake for example: chaos scroll is a regular drop from one monster, a monster that is, luckily for those who know which one it is, never trained on and has a very good spawn. Think about it for 10mn and you'll realise: "eureka let me find the drop table for this particular MS flavor"

Could I ask everyone around the table the inflation on slate/spike shoe/cape protection on your different servers since the glitch was leaked?
ps: i'm maplesyrop from that post earlier and trust me the drop rate is as low as nependeath honey

The fact that it's still unused map shows how maple population has changed, before people would hunt fire drake for weeks even if it was bad exp, the map would be full on all chan, now the big deal is to stay on a rope. I mean many of the most expensives and even amazing exclusives scrolls drop now from monster; this info is semi-public and yet nothing. I can't do more, if people don't want to pay attention, their fault not mine.

Like I said, I realized that the info was at least hinted at, but had never seen any point-blank, flat-out statements regarding it. And they don't hunt them because they can make more money from CWKPQ bonus over time than hunting in cube slimes. I tried for about an hour and a half with a cleric healing me while I roared (great exp for the cleric btw), so I may find a cleric that will pay to leech and let them sit on a safe ledge and spam heal with a pet auto-potting them while I roar.

Unless they're very low level, MP regen (which I believe has been bumped up to 5 seconds) should be easily fast enough to cover healing.

I am talking about pure hunting. The balance before was:
_training : good exp awful drop
_hunting : bad exp nice drop
For quite a while many monster combined fairly good exp and drops.
Instead of loosing one time getting scammed at cPQ by hacker or fail-trade-win, or even just waste a large amount of time to get a decent PT that last at most 3 rounds, one can just train/hunt there. It's definitely not a guaranty to get the drops but you only need it to drop once to really feel the difference in your wallet (lvl 32 monster), and the lure of profit would drive massive amount of people to those spots and you're talking about starting a new leeching business O_o

It sounds like it has the same droprate as spear for att 70% and pole arm for att 70% dropping from wolf spiders.

A long while ago, during my third job, I trained purely on wolf spiders for about a year and I've only seen one of each drop. (screenshotted proof for those who don't believe me)

I speculate the Chaos scrolls is about the same.
