Pink Been question
#21
How much for and how long is that CS item that allows you to revive in the same map?

I'm pretty sure Ariel's magic attacks are avoidable (as in, get the hell out of the way when you see markings on the ground) from the video's I've seen. Pink Been's magic attacks shouldn't do more than 11k or so, if you cross-check his magic attack with others. If he has any well-ranged physical attacks though, I'm not sure what ranged people could do about it.

I don't suggest trying it unless you have godly INT equips to level up with.. like 14x int + and have a lot of money (real life $$) ...

I know of atleast 1 MM in Broa who could have enough HP if he were to train a little more. He's only level 169 too.

The pink bean battle is stupidly planned out as a whole. You only need 8300hp for the first four phases to survive really (Huigin's attacks when crossing the room), the rest of it is just too ridiculous. You can't even see the marks on the floor for ariel's 13k attack unless you're on the floor, in which case you can't hit her/it. It's possible to avoid all of pink bean's attacks other than its 1/1 by standing behind it all the time, but once it turns around, you'll be blasted by 11k + stun attacks. I'm not sure how aggressiveness works with 30 people hitting a monster at once, but I'm somewhat sure that it's impossible to keep it facing one side away from the ranged classes 100% of the time.

Possibly ranged classes could stand on one side not firing, while the other classes attack?

Save the ranged people <3

Fix'd. :[

I don't think the fight is stupidly planned out so much as the strategies for killing it are. It took a while for KMS to kill HT, but hell...

It's gonna be a hell of a lot harder here because of all the people leeching to like 120, then not knowing how to use their characters and wanting to be taken along, and killing the rest of us. It won't even be easy for us...ranged does the most DPS to a single target...save for these Heroes with perfect lunchboxes and godly shields...I don't think we can get within the timer without Range.

Maybe they'll just increase the time for killing the last form and make it a boss for people who can survive xD this way atleast mages will have a bit higher chance getting in.

Take like 5 shadowers and few buccans. Put a shadower in each main attacking party, use smokescreen and leave party. Go to the other side and all shadowers party a buccan, use time leap then the shadowers go back and join the attacking party and smokescreen again when it runs out. Then leave party and join another buccan. Doing this you'll be able to get some help from the ranged attackers with some risks.

Or maybe they just made this boss for hackers only? Tongue

I want people to stop suggesting strategies for anything that involve x amount of Shadowers. It's not a good idea and it will never be. Besides, how many bossing groups have so many Shadowers lying around?

lol, the real question is can you even find shadowers these days? Mardia's shadowers are officially dead. I quit mine as soon as I tried joining boss groups & I got a nice Pineapple you. I wouldn't doubt most of the other shadowers feel the same way. I never got respect after 4th job came out. I wasn't even able to join a zrun till 4th job and I really didn't have the time to make my own zrun either.

This is all just crazy, because this kind of madness requires ~150-200+ AP washed/added t survive Pink Been.

For a power standpoint, sacrificing too much HP for main stat means ranged damage will falter, and if that happens Pink Been will be harder to take down. Might as well stack Heroes instead because at least they can take the hits. Rolleyes

What if you had a team of bowmen ALL use puppet on the wall and then attack the Pink Bean while the rest of the people stop attacking?

Well, you see the whole idea is to get it to face away from the bowmen + other range. Not make it target them... lol And you must not get how Puppet works, because the only way for Puppet to work is to be the only one attacking it. Bowman A uses Puppet and now only Bowman A can attack the monster. If any other person attacks, Bowman A's Puppet instantly becomes worthless.

If its 30 ppl like ht.

Team 1
1 - BM
4 - shadowers
1- bishop

Team 2-5
5 - shadowers
1 - bishop

Strategy

Bm solo attacking/puppets, Bishops heal, shadowers as multiple ss mules. Biggrin

Guaranteed success Cool

Hm... idea.
1) Does Monster Magnet force KB/force monsters to face you?
2) Does it work on bosses?

I know Rush does, but it pushes monsters in the opposite direction it forces them to face, so you'd end up either pushing PB toward the ranged or uselessly pinning him against the wall.

Good luck finding a BM that can dish out ~2m damage per second.

Stereo Wrote:It could be like that... you have 10 minutes to kill PB and then revive the ranged players Tongue (or revive them every 6-8 minutes and let them die again, while you kill)

The trouble is ranged damage > any other class damage on any boss, maybe this is how they guarantee the other classes get to help kill it.

D=

They could add bosses with 2-3 hittable parts, or bosses where you fight more than one boss at once. Not sure how that would work, but ranged only win on single targets. Heroes and DrKs both attack with skills that hit up to three monsters.

So basically the sense I am getting from everybody is basically nexon once again gave a big "Pineapple you, have a nice day" to the bowman class once again. Well at least I can survive the first 4 stages and it seems like stage 5 can be survived if i stay on that ledge and i can continually die at PB for fun =)

What's better, having lowered damage, or not even being able to go because you can't take a single hit. Obvious answer.
