What, exactly, makes this a warrior?

A magical girl, a kid in a robotic box, a cyborg and a stand user clearly classifies as Pirates, but a character with a weapon that is literally a knuckle fused with a pistol (a hand cannon, in this case with all the explosive stuff), nah, it's more sensical that it's a warrior.

What, exactly, makes this a warrior?

Because there's already 3 knuckle-using pirates.

Anyways, this class looks boring as pineapple, and I didn't notice a difference from the first job gameplay and 4th job gameplay. Overall disappointing, all the aesthetics are too similar and fire-y. Yet another class I have no interest in.

2nd Job. Now that I think of it, I think Act 2 of Heroes of Maple will be released in January since the next patch on December 22nd will revolve around Blaster. But that's just a thought.

There are still 2 weeks. They released the first part in 2 tespia patch, so I wouldn't expect them to take so long.

I gotta agree with the people saying it shouldnt be a warrior... heck remind me again why do we need another job right now?. This would have been a perfect opportunity to further develop Demon Slayer's and the resistance's story. "After the defeat of Gelimer, the resistance agrees on giving full support to Demon in his quest to defeat and retrieve Damien, thus appointing him temporary leader of the resistance and making him the official warrior of the branch." Heck they could even involve Xenon and develop its story as the non official thief of the group.

Rumor has it that Nexon top command has instucted all games to release a new class pronto.
Apparently they want to make a new game that is a crossover between all their games and it will have these new classes as representatives of their respective games. (Why they can't take some iconic class from each game is beyond me).
Hence this new class, which was the fastest thing they could throw together (as it needs no new story, being a Citizen, and is called a warrior because Elex was free), as well as the surprise new class in MapleStory 2.

No character card yet but the Link Skill is the same as the other 3 Resistance.

Looks like they're moving Demon out of the Resistance a bit, his new level 200 Hyper skill specifies Resistance classes, Demon classes, and Xenon.

You mean like VINDICTUS?!?!?! I can see Karok cash equips appearing in at least in NA since that weapon looks very similar to ceatus.

I doubt it, story related stuff for Demon will probably just be included in Heroes of Maple.

I think they haven't added the passive that gives more HP per level up or any %HP boosts on any skills yet. I mean they do have that shield that absorbs some damage like what Zero does. I just really like the hair they have by default, I want it.

well makes sense to introduce a resistance warrior since demon slayer isn't "resistance-trained" in the same way xenon is a resistance thief because he allied with them, rather than trained.

i won't even touch his "warrior" skills, but as said before resistance seem to like to be hipsters and leave the standard class paradigm off the three classes we have.
