Xenoblade Chronicles X

Raph589 Wrote:As for the soundtrack, some tracks are extremely cheesy but some others are insanely good. I heard the music director also did the OST for kill la kill, and one track in particular really sounds like "before my body is dry".

Yup. Same composer as Gundam Unicorn, Kill la Kill, and Attack on Titan. He really gets around.

"IF YOU'RE LOSING YOUR WAY, YOU NEED SOME PROTECTION!" I c wut u did there, Sawano. Alot of the lyrics are pretty silly. Catchy as heck, though.

That's decent, at least. I guess now I'll just hope for that potential dual audio DLC, unless someone can convince me that the EN VAs are Xenoblade-tier good.

there should be some videos on youtube already, maybe check some of the initial cutscenes?

for those playing this, i never played XB1, do i need to or is this game separate enough that i won't get spoiled/understand it in it's entirety/most of it?

There are easter eggs for the entire Xeno-series (Xenogears, Xenosaga and Xenoblade) but beyond that Xenoblade and Xenoblade X are two completely different games.

but contextually, it would be kind of awkward for people from New Los Angeles to speak Japanese

For the people who have been playing the game, what Division did you guys choose? I personally went with Curator. It was either that or Pathfinder as both empathize on "exploration" and I enjoyed doing that in Chronicles and currently in X. It's kinda funny walking into a level 30-40+ area from a level 10 area.

Get that silly logic out of here, we are talking about a video game about flying robots that probably ends like all the other xeno games, punching god in the face.

Curator too, though I have trouble understanding what it does except for the small stat boost.

>Implying that the U.S has 0 interest in mechanical design at all

despite the fact that the Megabots Inc(which is based in California(but not LA)) vs Suidobashi fight is still going to happen, and Animu contextually, ∀ Gundam, which is regarded to be the most overpowered gundam is designed by an American. It certainly isn't the leader of mechanical robot design, but it still has major roots in it.

The stat boost and what activities gives bonus BLADE points. There's not much otherwise. Probably cause there's really no downside to changing it either other than paying up some money to switch.

I'm almost at the 100 hour mark myself. I just need one more storage probe and I can obtain my Ares 90. I already have all the mats needed for it. The problem is there's no damn guide on how to get the remaining 2-3 storage probes other then "They're field treasure".

I've been too busy grinding out affinity for the quests. Recently got Blossom Dance so I just need to get Ghost Walker and I can start on working the super broken Ether Blossom Dance build.

theres 2 storage probes on the field, rest are all mission based i think.

if you're post game, you can grind easy affinty at the support console(~1/5 heart per mission that takes ~40 seconds including menus)

If you are grinding class rank, drop shaft is the easiest place to grind class exp.(basically fall in hole, walk into cubby and use phoenix to kill everything, there's like 21 monsters concentrated in one spot)

I had to switch from my Beam Sabre build to the blossom build because I needed to kill a certain boss(no spoilers) for its loot in time attack for the other level 60 skells. Offensive stance is like one of the most broken aura's while LS skills have such low cooldown times(relative to my previous beam sabre)

basically things to do early game:

when you blade level up: MAX mechanical skill first. you need it for planting probes as teleport spots around mira. This is basiclaly the one thing that almost anyone starting should know
be sure to know that you can level up arts to increase damage/decrease cooldown/increase effects as well as skills. each level up(max 5) requires an exponential amount of BP

there are like 4 kinds of missions:

redish orange is story mission, yellow is usually affinity mission. these cannot be done simultaneously and you can only accept one at a time. you cannot forfeit them once you start so save before each affinity mission always, as some are terribly hard.

green mission(based on the color icon in your mission page) are completion missions and are required for segment hex completions on maps. they arent vital to the story, but can be vital for some events.
blue is generic mission. all they are there for is rewards

Thanks for the link, also the support missions are what I've been doing. They're way too godlike. I used them to grind out the my BLADE rank from 9 to 10 since the highest mission gives 5k per completion.
