Edit: it's probably just the login servers then. I was fine in-game before I relogged.

I'm getting the same thing on my laptop, yet the other laptop in the house is running the game just fine. D:

Alliance member just logged in. Looks like they're slowly coming back...

Keep getting the can not connect to login servers type error... i need to do attendance!

*sigh* After logging off on my Bishop to go to my next character for the Evolving Ring... BAM! Disconnected. I was hoping it wouldn't happen in a time like this either. No wonder I can't even patch on my other laptop.

As I live in a different time zone, I can pretty much kiss my chaos scroll of goodnesses and perhaps even my rings goodbye...

I wonder if I should do the unique scrolls next knowing this pomegranate might happen again.

So, now we get to wait 4-5 hours until Nexon employees get to the office and maybe have their morning coffee from the famous machine, and then notice something maybe isn't quite right?

The login servers seem to be briefly accessible from time to time.
I haven't seen anyone log in in my alliance in the past hour, though. Only people playing are those who've been logged in since before this issue started.

The login server was green for a minute, then it went red again.

Perhaps the hackers are at work trying to prevent people from completing the event?

oh no. I got a jr balrog familiar just before. then I cc'd, and crashed. hopefully i don't lose it.

Same. I cant get on, but even if you get on with one character, you cant switch because the login server is down >.> Hope it doesnt ruin the attendance event.

I really hate Attendance Events.

Because some hackers are griefers. They enjoy making people suffer.
You know, like the kind of people who go on their high level chars on 2x and ks at low-level maps. They don't get any exp from it, they just enjoy seeing people cry and curse and call in their friends. It amuses them.

Which is not to say I agree with CroM's hypothesis that this is a DDoS attack on the login servers. Probably something a lot more banal.

Nexon's Server Status tells that everything (including login servers) is okay as always, while the reality is obviously not as they want us to believe.
