Second "Second Chances"

Expected/10, honestly. no point in really worrying about exploiters, once again, getting next to zero punishment. i've been focusing on playing the game so i have fun, not really comparing myself to others. i mean, i'd love to compare, but it's just not worth it lol

I completely agree, although it sucks when they do affect me like prices in FM, training, or bossing. It's just not worth getting mad over them anymore, especially when we don't even get a satisfactory answer for it.

Apparently I got blocked until October 12th, what the hell is this? I was just fine yesterday.

I got this too and I haven't done anything that is hacking related.

It is their new policy.

Guess I'm part of the crowd since I don't hack or use third party programs. Just got banned today.

I'm sort of beyond caring about it at this point. It doesn't really matter; What they (the people being unbanned) are doing isn't affecting me, so its not relevant to my enjoyment of the game most of the time. Of course, those who are hardcore into the FM and whatnot will likely (and somewhat understandably) be angry with dupers and those who exploit for rare items, but I never have sufficient funding to be able to afford those things in the first place, therefore I avoid the FM, therefore... I, personally, don't really pay real attention to things like this.

If the whole "Nexon KR is unbanning hackers because money" thing is true though, that is hilarious.

EDIT: I wasn't around for the Bounty Hunter event. Being as most of the complaints I've seen recently have been item/dupe related, I'll go off on a limb and assume thats what this is. If not... Don't know.

So extending the temp bans to make unbanning the perma bans is now part of the policy. Way to reward the worst abusers while punishing the minor ones further. I am really confused. And it looks like innocents were yet again caught up in the crossfire?

This seems pretty "consistent" with what we've come to expect from Nexon so far. A++ effort

I just don't understand how can a company get it wrong every single time for who knows how many years.
Definitely something worth spending money on.

Nexon is in a spot in which a GM could show in front of a hacker and say "You're getting banned" and then be told "check my transaction records, I spend 2 thousands weekly on the game, I am the reason you're sitting there, now get lost" and they'd be like "ok "

And yet, some of you are still playing and giving them money to last another day.

I had 30-day banned for doing the exploit like 14 times because it was a SC so no time to even do it anyways, I was supposed to unbanned yesterday but they changed it to the 12th too. lol

Hope is the last thing that remains it seems, but even the dense should have gotten the message by now. Maple will not become the game it deserves to be again, if it ever was. At least not under Nexon.

I don't see why not. The remaining players say they don't care because their only saving grace is that it currently doesn't affect them specifically, and nexon clearly doesn't care all that much with it's "Alcoholic step mother" approach

Apparently at least some of the people who were randomly banned for a week have had their bans lifted.
I don't know whether those who had their bans extended, from 30 to 37 days, were released as well.

Yeah, this really did happen. My account along with several people were unbanned a few days ago. I'm grateful for this however I'm probably going back on hiatus due to this incident.

Got banned for 1 month and it was supposed to end at Octuber 5th... now it says that ends on October 13th...

If you refer to the official forums, they state that they're extending these bans by 1 week.

So I got nexon'd... by 8 days more T_T
