I won't be buying it if it is released here, but i'm not huge on fighting games anyway, and fighting type pokemon are usually my least favourite.

I don't see how this announcement was any more shocking or ground-breaking than say, Pokemon Dash which was also a different genre than usual. They really overhype this stuff. ORAS should have been a livestream reveal like this, not out of nowhere.

I feel that a fighting game based on pokemon reburst would have been more exciting.

Just because it's all fighting type mons doesn't they can't mix things up with dual types.

If it ends up on the wiiu, this is one of those games i wait for a price drop on

Well it seems interesting! Haven't really seen pokémon doing real time battles in anything other than Smash. Too bad I'll never get to play it since its arcade. :c

I was really excited for this when I thought it was coming out for the Wii U, but arcade only? Why? ._.

A wii u version will probably come eventually...

Then again, we never got console ports of the arcade mario kart games, so maybe not. Even nintendo doesn't want to support the wii u, lol.

I read that in Japan, they like to release a version to arcades as a testing thing, then if given good reviews, it will be then ported to console. (It was said on YouTube, so I'm not really sure if this is true.)
If it comes to Wii U, then I don't really care what happens.

A lot of popular arcade games never make it past arcades. I mean supposedly pokémon tretta is super popular.

Sure a console release is possible in the future, but i wont get my hopes up one bit.
