Got the game! Beat all Cups on 50cc and played around online. My score so far is at 1210 ~ 1230.

Really hoping that Yoshi bike is the equivalent of the Dolphin Dasher, my favorite bike from MKWii. I needs it badly.

Game is pretty fun. I like it. We should have like a play together or something one day.

The only thing I don't like about 8 is that battle mode is downright abysmal. The only redeeming quality about it is that you can hunt the remaining players when you're out. Otherwise this game is incredible.

yeah, battle mode for MK8 is pretty terrible. I mean with antigravity, You would think they would do something awesome right? (imagine traditional 3 balloon battle mode, inside of a cube, where all of the walls/roofs are legitimate flooring)

This game is absolutely gorgeous. Got it about 2 hours ago and just finished
the 50 cc cup on all 3 stars. Will be starting on 100 cc once i'm done posting this.

I've also tried to play an online match and no lag at all, very smooth.

So I played 150cc/mirror on every cups in grand prix with my 2 friends. HOLY CRAP, the AI. They are capable of genius placement of banana peels: like next to a coin, under an item box. I guess the programmers learned from competitive gamers. I've seen a scenario through the highlight reel, where a CPU literally drops a banana peel in front of a human player... Also the rubberbanding, we screamed countless times of "WHERE THE F DID YOU CAME FROM" usually near the finish line.

yeah the AI is alot smarter this time around(and I like it) gives me a challenge at the start(never bothered either 50cc/100cc its actually not necessary to play them in MK8 unless some of the previous entries)
