Ahh, thank you for clearing that up for me; was curious how they were gonna do the Agent Carter part.
Season finale
Wowie wow wow. They really turned everything up to 11 for this. It seems most everything was tied up pretty neatly and doors were opened for next season. Who's Mr. Bloody-hands and what are the drawings of? FIND OUT THIS FALL.

At this point I think Antman will be delayed at least until November-December 2016. As with many people, I am quite curious to know what actually happened as to Edgar leaving.
I dunno, it sounds really tough to make a good film about a guy whose power is changing size.
Very few of marvels characters can actually carry a film by themselves. The hulk solo movies are crap, Thor has always been a double act between him and loki, even if he is the bad guy and I wasn't a huge fan of Captain america 1 while 2 which paired him up with black widow and falcon which in turn made a much better film.
Really, only iron man (and spider man, but that's not directly made by marvel) have really been able to carry films on the strength of a single character alone.
The rumours say that marvel wanted to tie it into avengers (no pomegranate, obviously any marvel film is going to be tied into the avengers franchise now) and they had disagreements over it.

Rumor has it that it was a heist style movie. Have you seen the comic con test footage reel that Wright made as a pitch? It was pretty interesting and I could definitely see a heist/action movie doing that.
Saw Guardians of the Galaxy tonight. Was surprised at how good it was. Fairly comedic. Fights weren't that interesting. Felt more character and comedy driven, rather than action. Certain scenes were just dumb though.
Spoiler
Particularly, swapping the mask in space, and the gigantic space craft crash landing, everyone on the ground survives and walks over to the wreckage to see what happened.

So Guardians of Galaxy takes place between the Avengers movies, I wonder how it will connect them. We see the Collector from the end of Thor 2, and Thanatos from the end of Avengers. I wonder if they are going to keep the who thing going until they get to all 6 infinity stones?

Thanos*
And I think we are getting the 3 missing Gems fairly quickly. Most likely one with Doctor Strange, another that Thanos most likely already has, and possibly another in Agents of Shield (Or could even be the plot for another Avenger movie and stopping Thanos from gathering them all?).
And behold: Information on the 6 Infinity Gems/Stones by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn.
Spoiler
One of the biggest scenes in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" is the one that many Marvel fans have been waiting for - the Marvel Cinematic Universe finally dealing with the topic of the Infinity Stones (or Infinity Gems in the comics).
Following on from his post-"Thor" sequel tease, the scene with The Collector (Benicio del Toro) finally sees an explanation of the nature of the six highly-coveted Infinity Stones. The scene confirms that the Tesseract from "The Avengers," the Aether from "Thor: The Dark World" and the Orb in 'Guardians' are three of the stones. The other three are unknown but at least two of them are briefly glimpsed in holographic form in the scene.
That puts them well ahead of The Avengers themselves who are still much more in the dark about Thanos and his long-term plan. James Gunn talked with Hitfix about the scene:
"These are people that see a little bit more of the big picture because that's where they are, I guess. On Earth, these other guys, The Avengers, they're not quite tuned in to the bigger picture. They only see a little tiny piece of it. They're holding the ear of the elephant in the dark room. The Collector isÂ… he's got all the lights on."
Gunn was ecstatic that he got to help setup the lore of the Infinity Gems and discussed what role he played in the final results on screen:
"We talked early on about having Thanos in the movie, which, believe me I was excited to have Thanos in the movie because a) I love Thanos and b) I want people who have seen The Avengers to go see this because we're connected to it. There was no fight from me having Thanos in the movie. But for me, I wrote a group of characters with the plot points I wanted to write and the stuff that's connected to the rest of the Marvel universe was very exciting for me to be a part of. To just sit down and create what the Infinity Gems are, I got to sit down and add to the overall Marvel universe and build up the Marvel universe, because I got to create that. And that was very exciting to me."
He also cleared up a debate about which stone is which. Kevin Feige previously confirmed the Tesseract is the Space Gem, and Gunn how now confirmed the stone in 'Guardians' is the Power Gem. It's assumed the Aether is the 'Reality' gem and that the stone in Loki's sceptre could be the 'Mind' gem which will potentially come into play in "Avengers: Age of Ultron". That leaves the 'Time' gem and 'Soul' gem still in play, one of which may well be worked into "Doctor Strange".
And I think we are getting the 3 missing Gems fairly quickly. Most likely one with Doctor Strange, another that Thanos most likely already has, and possibly another in Agents of Shield (Or could even be the plot for another Avenger movie and stopping Thanos from gathering them all?).
There's no way the third avengers movie doesn't culimnate in someone, probably stark, getting all the chaos emeralds infinity gems+ gauntlet and using it to fight Thanos.
Several new upcoming movies, plus 2015 Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man and the May 5, 2017 Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
There will also be more pressence of other Avengers in all of the upcoming movies, with Iron-Man and Black Panther appearing with Captain America Civil War. Most of phase 3 (Phase = movies between Avengers movies) will revolve around Civil War storyline.
