I got the first badge and my team is the best. Shroomish OP

Have fun trying to set up when if you get hit by a super-effective move, you're usually dead.

'Course it's still powerful and very strong (...Spore Victreebel is kinda OP) but it's not as easy as in the regular games.

Probably a lot easier to set up with Kingdra's typing and defenses than Victreebel's. Do trainers' pokemon EV's or something?

I might just give this game a shot with Horsea over spring break.

Horsea is pineappleing terrible. It started with an Attack+ Sp.Attack- nature.
Meanwhile, I caught this Cubone, which has an Attack+ nature, and came wielding the thick bone which doubles its attack stat. It's an absolute beast.

I've basically only just beaten the first gym, so i'm not very far. The wild battle theme is epic.

So I found what appears to be an interesting bug... After about 10 tries, all 10 hypnosis resulted in sleep. Either I am an RNG god or hypnosis is broken.

Speaking of accuracy.. why does it seem like every single pokemon up to and past the second gym seems to know sand attack and uses it repeatedly? gahhhhhh

Can anyone confirm that it's from some Final Fantasy?

The wild battle theme is actually one of the default themes that comes packaged with the program that was used to make the game. Same goes for one of the trainer battle themes and one of the town themes. Possibly more, but I only just beat the 1st gym.

Hmm, I picked this up a while ago but never really got into it. Might try again when I have more free time.

Kudos to the creator for having gay NPC's in the game. Unexpected, but awesome.

Anyway, currently about to fight the 3rd gym. my Shroomish evolved! caught a Rotom, who i'm currently loving. Horsea evolved and became slightly less useless. It's all good so far.

I was slightly worried when they said "go back to that town from ages ago", and then you walk a few steps away and the screen fades to black and you just appear right there, and then you appear back at the place you need to be. Whoever created this game is awesome.

Some other details of the game are pretty cool too, like flocks of Pidgey, Pidgeotto and Pidgeot occasionally flying over towns, and that when an egg hatches you can choose what pokeball to put it in.

The evil team is different (but still the same leader). Some legendary Pokemon and wild Pokemon, too (Kyogre/Latias/Jirachi/Garchomp in Zeta, Groudon/Latios/Victini/Haxorus in Omnicron off the top of my head).

Also you can create your own move in the town with the 3rd gym in the pokecenter. it's a physical move with 70 power and 100 accuracy, and you can name it and give it whatever type you want (with the exception of Fairy)

It's absolutely huge, bigger maybe than the Groudon Link posted, and it's sprite is so big it takes up most of the battle screen. it looks really stupid.
