So, the girl I like (which I told her today that I liked her :3) wanted the girl to look more like her so... I complied. Things left to do:
- Music
- Intro screen
- Game over screen
- Increase the partition on the Virtualbox Mac image so I can install Unity on it and export it to the AppStore.

I hate working with Macs...

This is literally one of the top things I hate to hear from creators. That they made a change to their work in order to please some love interest.

It's also one of the reasons I dropped Homestuck.

Oh no, her hair is slightly brighter, the gameplay is ruined.

Sounds like an excellent opportunity to ask for more "reference material".

That aside, I've never played the Flappy Bird but always am in support of quirky things like this. Interested, though without an iPhone.

I'm reminded of the Sonic fandom's "baww green eyes" for some reason

I like this one more. She smiles, too. Smile

It's so bright, it blinds me! I can't play correctly now! It's all her fault!

It's fun only seeing the negative side of things, isn't it?

The underlying code is as much part of the product as is the art and sound. If you aren't given the freedom of at least having the option of looking at and/or modifying the built-in functions, then you don't really have complete creative control.

So would you rather there be no option for aspiring developers with no large sums of cash to throw at a product they know nothing about? Because that's the deal with every other powerful engine.

The others might have a small trial, but in the end you have to pay upfront or get nothing, and then usually after that the developers of the engine continue to take from any sales you may or may not get. Unity may not be perfect but it's by far the best choice for a team/person with barely any starting funds, whether you like it or not.

Because everyone is trying to cash in on a game that can be created with very basic skills and has the gameplay of an Atari 2600 title.
