I think you're forgetting to add "It only takes a few hours to get to 1 -> 100 if you are (somewhat) funded".

Not everyone is.

I'm funded on my bishop, but takes me longer than a few hours to level non-mage characters to level 100.

Pulling resources help, like having a hs mule and kanna mule and even multiple chars or friends to help you get into some pqs like romeo and juliet helps a lot. Remember that the high lvls don't leech any exp at all so this is a great help for them to just stand there and do what they gotta do. Funds partially has to do with it, but theres still other factors in .

Hey, with some people trying to get free maple points and stuff its motivation for them to do it, haha. I entirely agree though, I don't hs for anyone either .

Only the boss gets maple points though... and the rest gets items. It will totally feel like you are working for a boss.

Having said that, if all I'm doing is HSing my own char, then I'm the boss and worker at the same time. Its a good time to set up link mules on another account with a main (and also time to try out some classes).

Yes, after the expiration date.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the event crossed over to the Zero release... Then you could just create the characters and they'd already be at 100.

The event does cross over with Zero's release and if it's a Zero, it has to be Level 180.

I had the same issue with recruiting my friend as well.
Can't be certain, but I believe you have to recruit someone who has made a completely new account (with a new character) for it to work.

Going to try it out in a hour and make sure though... If not, the only other reason it could be is you can't have a Boss and Recruitee on the same account... or rather it's just glitched. :S

Like the King of Crowns medal, the stats will expire after the event. Just that you have the medal for your records.
