You'd have to be extremely stupid to "upgrade" [Read: Downgrade] your Tyrant gear to the 160 "Whirlwind" gear.

I doubt it. Look at how short the name is compared to the real Empress Shoulders. There's also only one Shoulder, whereas there would need to be five (one of each class) if it were Empress.

In specific circumstances better than the Empress, obviously if you don't need it for the set. It should also take current Empress Shoulder prices down a peg, which is a benefit even if you don't intend on using it.

Now that we know tyrants can become whirlwind it's a legitimate upgrade. Unless of course you intend to get more than 7 stars in which case do that and then transfer.

It is a bad idea. If you intend to go past 7 stars. (or however many stars you have, i say 7 because that's just what most people settle for)

I would be fine with account-shareable but fully untradeable just puts it on the long list of items I am never going to bother cubing or obtaining. The only untradeable items I have are weapons (since most classes are unique anyway w/e) and things that were essentially free (like 6% stat tempest rings)


I just value my ability to switch classes when I feel like it over being marginally more powerful. And it pays off... I'm gonna be able to re-equip my Paladin for the revamp completely free.

Besides, you don't have to bother cubing it because it uses potential rank from something else. Just buy a legendary item and use free cubes from RED shop or from future free cubes.

No, I don't think it does.

I just wish they could add EStaves to the transferable weapons, because I don't want to give up the one I've perfected and cubed, but it's becoming more and more obsolete with each patch, despite still being the highest leveled weapon in the game.

That, and for some reason, the only Fafnir Staff being sold in Broa has a C/O of 3b clean, and I can't afford that, and Empress would just be a total downgrade. :/
