What's the cheapest way to cube an item from Rare?

I was hoping premiums would be double upgrade rate of supers to make them actually worth the cost but that clearly isn't the case.

Nah, platinum at legendary isn't cost effective either since both of those do the exact same thing at that point.

Now the question becomes, what scroll, if any will you get back if using a Guardian Scroll in conjunction with an expired Unique Potential Scroll?

I guess this extends to non-expired, time-limited UP scrolls too. Will you get the same one back? Will you get an extension by seven days? Will they become regular UP Scrolls, tradable with no expiration date? Will it not work? Will it eat your 2K NX and not work?

So many questions, some obviously more plausible than others, of course.

It probably just prevents the scroll from being consumed.
I'll probably check next time I scroll with Guardians to see if the scroll disappears from my inventory for a second.

You have one server tick to use it up. I've lost 2 scrolls because of that, one AP and one SP reset. But I managed to use my lvl30 and lvl70 potions on my Xenon before they expired, probably because it was lagging horribly. But how long the server tick interval is... idk. One can presume it's a standard 10-second tick (like mob spawn), or a half/one-minute tick like all time-check events (I've had stuff that expired for a pretty long time IN my inventory so idk if it's half or one minute).

It really varies. Sometimes I've had items last a minute. Other times 10 seconds. I suggest being completely ready to use it before you take it out, and then taking it out straight away.

The EMS attendance event for the unique pot scrolls just started... I'm going to be farming on 16 characters. This should be fun.

Since they've been out, I think i'm at around ~50 SCubes without any gears going from Unique-Legend, but when I used Platinum Cubes, all my gears got a tier up within 15 cubes or so, which I consider quite good (I've even had a few that changed tier in first 1-3 Cubes)

Also, while at Legend, I've been having good luck with them, cause I've been getting 18-27% stats relatively frequently of the % I want so... my experience tells me Platinums...

Then again.. it really is all luck each have their own preferred methodss

Your sample is way too small to draw any definite conclusions from though.
I have had such luck with S cubes before, and vice versa with Plats.
I think I will join the consensus and claim that while plats might have better percentage, it is not big enough to warrant the huge leap in price.

As an idiot in statistics, I'd do a very rough estimate for a minimum sample size:

For a 5% chance of something happening, to have an average of 95% probability of that something to happen, you need something like 60 cubes. But a single instance of that happening is not statistically strong - you need like... up to 10 times that number. 600 cubes is... anyone wants to shell that kind of money for the sake of spading NexonAM's numbers?
