Yeah, peaches does seem to be a common starting town fruit. My first town gave me Peaches as well, but I kept restarting as both my sisters have Peaches and Cherries in their towns. I'm rocking pears in my town, but sadly I have no wi-fi access within my house.

On one hand I'm surprised by how many people are playing animal crossing. On the other hand, its by far the best selling 3DS game in Japan, and probably worldwide by the end of the year so eh.


Also holy pomegranate guys, YOU CAN STACK FRUITS IN YOUR INVENTORY. Gamechanger!

TIL you can swap tools with the D-Pad. Makes the island so much more tolerable lol.

Girlfriend just gave me Majora's Mask!

Guys.. I think she's the one.

Edit: Unfortunately though the mask has some pretty bad shader problems. If you look to the side or at angles the entire half of the mask that's furthest from you goes almost completely black. The base and rim of the mask also gets these weird glitches as well. Hoping it would be fixed but I doubt console games have their problems fixed very often if ever.

Was researching what Time Travel is and how it works and my god.... nothing but purist bullpomegranate everywhere. Nothing more cringe-worthy than seeing a video game purist.

I'm considering Time Travel since Isabelle just said it may take days to get approved for my development permit. Like wut.

Edit: Nevermind, permit is here!!!!! So excite! Also, island access starting tomorrow! A new resident is finished moving in today, and ANOTHER one just reserved a plot of land. This game is what I wish my real life was like. This is so exciting.

I got the Majora's Mask yesterday myself. It's too big, I immediately unequipped it. I noticed the shader issues as well, but the sheer size of it is silly.

I'm a Harvest Moon lover and never tried this game before, but since it'll probably take another decade for the next one to be released in Europe, I'm getting it tomorrow or the day after.
Hoping it's as good as it seems to be. ^^

I'm surprised no one has said anything about falling leaves.
If you shake trees in your town (and probably others if you want to steal theirs?) you can get one or a few furniture items. They drop down from the tree like leaves. Pretty sure this resets daily just like the money rock.
In the process, you'll probably run into a few beehives. Be sure to run straight in one direction and then make a turn when they're kinda close, get your net out, face them, and catch! ..Or you could run into a house.
100 bells also drop pretty frequently from trees if you're into change.
