Unscheduled Maintenance - February 7, 2013

There's an exploit for Maple Points and for unlimited Nobler boxes (the one that gives 2 super miracle cubes). So it could be that. People been getting like 50 cubes per 30 minutes.

I'd actually be relieved if they fixed these instead of the happy time event. Here's to hoping~

An actual exploit that anyone with a competent brain could abuse...

I'm not sure how it works, I read some of it but I think it requires a packet sending program though not 100% sure.

It's definitely a 100% bannable exploit though.

Because hackers can sell it for IRL money and then when it gets patched they still made off with your money.

I don't even consider it an exploit. It's a sure-fire 1 way ticket to Bansville.

Because, even though any form of hacking is against the ToS, some hackers are smart enough to know what type of things are way too extreme of an exploit or hack to be in-game, thus they release it publicly, hoping Nexon catches on and fixes it.

From what I can gather, someone makes a hack or finds out an exploit and sells it to others.

On that note, the "exploit" was ridiculously easy. No idea how people find them, but it was WAY simple lol

I hope they don't take out the Nobler rewards, I haven't had a chance to claim mine due to laziness, lack of inventory space and waiting (and hoping) for a Miracle Time. I didn't even do anything wrong, but I can see where that guy was getting so many cubes from earlier while I was in Ardentmill and what all his snickering and cube comments were coming from.

Chances are, he won't even get caught because he was transferring his equips from a main to a mule. Sadness.

If both of his characters connect from the same location, Nexon can check his IP and permanently ban both of his accounts. They have shown they can do this in the past.

I'm just hoping the HappyTime event doesn't get removed entirely. C'mon don't abuse the awesome event. is it not good enough to do it on 18 characters per account?
