Amazon has been beating out Steam hard recently. I got Bioshock and Bioshock 2 for like $5 a few months ago, a quality of sale I never saw on Steam.

Darksiders is part of the THQ bundle catalog. Since THQ is bankrupt, hey, discounts on all their games.

PSA: You can get the entire THQ catalog for $25. No DLC. If you bought the Humble THQ Bundle though, I'd save my money.

(Darksiders/2 isn't in the humble THQ bundle though.)

It's not like it's going to bankrupt Gearbox to give a discount on it's overpriced DLC.

Both. Most of these sales are Digital, and when they're digital you can link them to Steam if Steam has them.

Are you trying to suggest I don't? If I didn't, I wouldn't have bought it at all. In the case of larger companies, they have plenty of money. They don't need to be charging $60 per game, and I don't need to be buying them for that much either. They made more than enough off of BioShock, the $5 sales they got are gravy on the massive sales they already made on BioShock.

I don't like the insinuation that I do not like to support developers simply because I don't have infinite money to spend on every game that comes out now. The point of waiting to buy a game is that you get it cheap at the price of waiting a while to play it. That is the tradeoff. Do not accuse me of not wanting to support developers because I waited to buy a game. You should be happy that I bought it, because most people do not, especially when it's a PC game that was cracked years ago.

Yes, because Steam has survived means that all piracy is over! Savior of the PC Gaming World, Steam is! Piracy is still extremely popular, proven by the fact that you can still find cracks for new games within hours if it's popular enough after release, sometimes BEFORE release of some games. If I didn't intend to spend any money at all, I don't have to, especially for a game that's 5 years old, or even 5 days old.

There's absolutely no reason to attack me for trying to save some money, and I will not accept any attempts.

Here I am thinking you blew Jedward's post out of proportion. I mean, sheesh, cut that guy some slack, all he said was he paid about $2.50 more than you did, and he supposed he kinda liked that $2.50 going to Bioware. Either way it's only frigging $2.50.
