Login Issues

i just tried logging in, and it wouldn't even patch, lulzy stuff.

You can "prepatch".
And then join the rest of us waiting on Nexon to figure themselves out.

Yo did they accidentally port the underage time based login block or something.

Even if they did, it would be per account. We're not even getting to the page where we enter the account name.

I would assume that if people who logged on before the issues started can stay on, anyone that was on during the login issues wouldn't be eligible.

I get to the log in screen, then it says it can not connect to the server and closes...

Both of my computers just had their Maple crash. Looks like USC #2 is incoming.

Hopefully they did that because they now know what needs to be done, and not just to stop you (and a few others) from gaining too much of an unfair lead on other Kaiser racers.

While, yes, I should also hope they know what needs to be done, I'd be very happy that they're at least considering people who are racing on Kaiser. You know, as I sit here... getting sadder and sadder that the time on my 2x card is ticking down, watching as others get their Kaisers to higher and higher levels, while days, weeks, months maybe of preparation go to waste because a few other people can log in and fewer of those are leveling Kaisers. It's like being a race and right after the start line, 9 out of 10 people break their legs. I'm so sad and desperate, I even tweeted @MapleStory how unfair it was, I don't even know how twitter works. The point is, this greatly upsets me =[

This reminds me of how people assumed that Phantom was going to be out during the 14th November server maintenance but the job creation was opened at midnight for MapleSEA, which gave people a huge advantage if they had an extra slot. It's so saddening to hear of such things.

At the point that they finally took the game servers down, the few who got in had 4 hours' advantage over those who didn't. Way too late to break their legs, too.

That's true, but it gives me some relief that they can't get any further ahead now, though, at this point, I'd really just like to go back to playing Kaiser.

We are aware of an issue where some players are unable to log into MapleStory. Our engineers are working to resolve this issue, and we will update this post when we have more information. Thanks for your patience!

Are other people having problems starting the game? My Maple had been loading (black screen) for a good five minutes.

I'm going to assume that's what the new ^ notice is about.

I restarted my computer and it took 10 minutes for it to load, but I got in game now.
