I did pay for Dustforce. It looks interesting and I wanted to give more money to the Torchlight people anyway.
It's not worth it because the $6 can pay for two lunches.

It was definitely worth it for me since all the games I didn't have were on the "below average" part of the bundle. So even 1$ is enough to buy them.

Yeah for me it was the opposite...plus I have no idea when I'd ever play them, if at all.

You can't do that anymore, sadly. During one of the Steam drawing events people were abusing the humble bundle games in the contest to get extra draws at prizes, so you have to pay at least a dollar now to get a Steam code. Damn shame, too. Nothing filled me with more joy than their captcha that called me a heartless monster for donating less than a dollar alongside that hilarious hobo indie game dev picture they put up.

*waits* You don't need Steam to play these games, there's a separate download button on the code page.
I already have 3 of the bonus games, I'm glad the other one is Wizorb. PRobertson makes the most amazing sprites.

I know you don't need Steam. FabledGumbo was saying I can't pay with pennies anymore, which is untrue (and I wouldn't in the first place). You can buy the download links for a cent.

I just assumed there was no reason to donate more than a cent unless you wanted a steam code (unless you actually wanted to support the devs). Everything there is DRM free so if you're not concerned with linking the games to your steam library you can just share your download link with whoever you were going to donate for.

Feels dirty getting 4-5 games for 1 cent though. It already feels dirty when you pay 5$ for the lot.

I kinda gave up on supporting games where it wasn't necessary since I feel like every game company I've liked has done something to stab me in the back. I just find indie games additionally objectionable because it seems like the people designing them are self-righteous manchildren who want nothing more than to shape the future of video games into pretentious hipster art sculpted into the shape of their childhood nostalgia.

I don't mean to be an pimento but...what delusional world are you living in?
The first part I can see if you connect that with big-name companies...but the indie thing... wh..what?

Then choose to put all the money you are donating towards the charity part, you know you can choose to split it any way you want it, right?

Changed my mind. For all of those games and around 6 dollars or so, I guess it's not too bad. Bought it for myself.

Indie Game: The Movie sums it up fairly nicely. If not, you could do a couple of Google searches for Edmund McMillen, Jonathan Blow, Phil Fish, and Markus Persson that explain why they're not the kind of people I would choose to support.

A quick google search would've told you that it means "Does anybody else".
I see nothing that links it to being european.
And yup, bought this, regardless of having all the games.
I usually give most of the cash to the charity anyway.

But the developers are nothing but hipsters, why give your money to the charity?!
