The World Ends with iOS >:(

Holy crap.

Excited about the sequel!

But did it need a sequel? Some things are better as one offs. I wonder if they had any solid ideas for a sequel or if it’s just due to fan demand. Either way can't wait to see what they show when the timer is up.

You would assume it would be on 3DS but looking at what they did with Kingdom Hearts who knows.

On a 3DS the action usually happens on the top screen due to the 3D. But the DS game was all about the touch screen really. I wonder how they will handle that. If it's not on the 3DS they would have to completely change the combat system. Well it could work on Wii U I guess. They could even make it a 2 player game. One person controlling 1 character on the TV and another on the gamepad thing.

Edit: On the other hand, if this is a pineappleing iOS/Android game, I will personally find a way to get to square enixs hq and brutally beat every person there. I'mjustsaying.

Glad I replayed the game like a week ago. Very excited =3.

Well, I hope it will be slightly-3D. So the sprites stick out a bit. And the cutscenes, (like the flashbacks and such) can have an epic 3D effect. Ohgod,3dtearsofthefirsttwewy, yes.

If it's a 3DS game, I don't want to be a huge downer, but I seriously doubt it will have sprites. We're still in the realm of "Developers NEED *System gimmick* regardless of whether they're appropriate", and 3D wouldn't be as noticeable with sprites. That said, I can't even imagine I would want to try and keep myself in the 3D sweet spot, while controlling both of the characters.

And I seriously doubt they're going to make a 3DS game which doesn't support 3d.

I wonder if we will play a new reaper's game with completely new characters or if we will even play a reaper's game. Or maybe Neru and the others will get killed again and be put into more shenanigans organized by new reapers. Or maybe something completely unexpected!

I thought he didn't take Joshuas spot? He came back to life at the end and met up with Beat/Rhyme and Shiki in her real body. Joshua was instead testing him at the end to see if people could really change, if Neku had shot at him, he would have simply stopped the bullet and destroyed Shibuya.

HNNNNG.

I'm curious if they'll have a new cast or not; they could certainly keep the old characters, but they could easily introduce a newer cast.

I wonder if they'll go into more explanation about the higher planes. The RG and UG got a little confusing by the end. Also, did Rhyme ever get her entry fee back? I'm a little lost on that front.

Neku is talking to Joshua. He says "You took care of things right, because otherwise Shibuya would be gone". That alone suggests that it wasn't Neku who stopped Shibuya from being destroyed. Joshua didn't destroy Shibuya because Neku made the right choice.
Plus Joshua is pretty clearly still an angel in the bonus ending.

Gotta remember, Sho Minamimoto is still "supposedly" alive as his physical body remained. I won't be surprised if he's the new "Reaper Leader" in the 2nd game (Assuming sequel). Plus he still has that "Taboo Form".

The music is changing and becoming more complete the closer the countdown gets. This is awesome.

And for those who are wondering, the song appears to be a crazy mash-up of "Calling" and "Twister" (Notably -KINGDOM MIX- and Original Respective Remixes)
And this time, enix is bringing down some crazy stuff.
