Cybernetic Hate Crime?

Rather interesting comment on the article:

Wouldn't mind seeing a show of hands: Who here is disturbed or worried by the potential for Glass to serve as a kind of surveillance device? Does it bother you to know that you may be filmed or photographed at any time and by virtually anybody? (and I ask all this, of course, with the understanding that assaulting someone for this is *never* justified)

Of course it bothers me, but why would you assume it's not already happening? Since cameras have existed it's been possible to be filmed discreetly while in public.
