speaking of dragonball
if I were to download the series, that ends with boo and stuff, which one am I looking for?
I have all the books and have been interested in downloading the series since forever, but I never got around it.
is it just Dragon Ball Z? GT? Kai? or whatever the names are for the different versions there are.

I recommend Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. Those are the two big ones.

276 episodes sounds like you got the edited version of Dragon Ball Z, which cut out a good portion of the filler (which is a good thing). That likely doesn't include Dragon Ball, considering Dragon Ball itself is 153 episodes. I recommend watching Dragon Ball as well, so you can understand Dragon Ball Z a little more. The beginning of Dragon Ball Z will leave you guessing who the characters are and their backgrounds if you don't watch the original series.

I've read all the dragon ball books, from where goku is a kid, the tale about his "dad" and all that, what he becomes with his tail, the moon and how he meets bulma and others - I assume that is Dragon Ball?

Oh, yeah. That's the same thing. If you've read up to the end of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai, then you should be good.

Actually, that's the Martial Arts tournament where Goku defeats Piccolo Jr. and finally becomes the winner.

Because you can't have a threatening villain look silly at all. If anything, that's all the more dangerous and threatening. If nothing else, you get the enemy to waste a few seconds comprehending how you're so dangerous, which can be all you need to kill them.

That villain definitely ruined all expectations I could have for this movie.
It sure will be a joke as that one with Vegeta's brother or the plan to kill all Sayans.
