Yeah, all the gunslingers with guns have the level 15 one handed mace I think instead of guns.

The rankings are glitched via equips.

Red arial cape (NX cape) = level 75 red cape on rankings.

Gapped and basically probably the top 500 were leeched. Congratulations on anyone who didn't leech who got to third job this soon (DrRusty <3).

I'm ...hm. I'm in the top 2000. I wish the rankings had been up since day 1, so we could actually watch the progression of Pirates up the ranks.

Lol sorry to dissappoint you dude. Like I've said before it's a shared account, and I nicknamed my friend vampire because all he does is leech. Getting to lvl 7x in 4 days is pretty much impossible without 24/7 2x, 3 players, and a ton of coffee. I wish I could sit here and say "yah I trained all the way to 7x in 4 days", but I can't. I work full time, and i can only play MS but so much. I don't have enough time on my hands to get another 4th job char without taking 10 months+ if i went solo.

I won't lie because I'm not ashamed that i'm trying to save what little time I have. 1-10 I trained, 11-36 we used my friends itcg/etc items, 37-49 I trained, 50-58 leeched, 59-63 I trained, 64-70 leech, 71-74 trained.

there's already 120+ lol. Me and my friend haven't lvld since sunday (when we go to 3rd job). Actually no, I did lvl once yesterday.

Also, 99% of Pirates are not eligible to win the contest, you had to make your account after the patch to be qualified >_>

All it says is [paraphrased] "Be the highest level pirate within the contest period". That doesn't mean you have to start inside the contest period. It just means you have to be the #1 pirate within that time frame, or to put it another way "Be the #1 pirate during that time frame, and be the #1 pirate when the time frame ends" If you get passed the day after, you still win.

Unless I'm overlooking something, that's my interpretation.

I'm only lv 44...so slow soloing.

Also, if you have Blackbeard's Knuckles equipped, your character won't even show up.

It says "During the Contest Period, you may enter the Contest and become an Entrant ("Entrant") by creating a Pirate job character in MapleStory and becoming the highest leveled Pirate character in of all the servers."

I think its taken as you have to create the character within the contest period. But who knows, maybe its only referring to having it become a pirate within the Contest Period, which would mean everyone is eligible.

I got only 1 SP though, but still, I advanced at level 31.

It also says it's only open to residents of US and Canada, too. >_> Which is of course pretty stupid for GLOBAL MS.

Same. I leveled pretty fast on Day 1 so it would've been nice to know the rank then. Though I guess it's up now, and I'm in top 1500 at the moment, so that'll suffice.

Wha- There's a prize? That's dumb, the highest level beginner could advance to a Pirate and overtake everyone.
