I ran into this today. I was able to reproduce the issue and I was also able to turn in the quest normally. Your result will be different depending on how you finish. Any further information would break the rules here, so I won't say anything more. You have to believe there is a USC coming up as soon as the Nexon employees get into the office, though.

Why not at this point? You'll either get rewarded NX, keep the results, or get banned for 30 days. Sounds like a good trade off too me lolol

I'm not proud to say that I did, but the tempation was just too big, I only did level 80-86 and only because I knew that it wouldn't last, after that I stopped and searched the forums for it so I could report it

I live in the Netherlands, and I've been playing for 6 years, if I get banned I will never be able to play MapleStory again because I cant make an account anymore

How can they tell?

I have a level 115 DW I intended to train to 117 this morning.
Then I discovered the glitch.
Wouldn't use it. Besides lollegitimacy, I'm also not dumb enough to risk a ban to save maybe half an hour of grinding.
But is it safe to train normally? Or are Nexon going to "suspect" any char that leveled at all between midnight and whenever they finally wake up?
Ended up not training at all. Better safe than sorry.
