well, dunno how reflect-happy empress is over there, but if it's anything like over here, crash is pretty much a must for 40 secs of free attacking.

if she did heal that 800M hp at 9:59 mark though, would explain why it took them 2 mins to lower it.

I know Max's blog and Fiel's extractions say they can, but I haven't seen it for myself either. It would be nice to.

I don't get why they don't use Ultimate Drive, since it's 2 hits, and Rapid Fire is 1, unless UD is slower.

at first i thought that, but then i thought about it a moment, and it makes perfect sense.

Empress can only be killed after the 9:59 mark, otherwise it just heals up.

So there's no real point in taking an SS of her technically dead when they have 30-40 minutes left. Obviously a full party can "kill her" faster, but due to that above restriction, it seems like 2 ppl vs 20 ppl have the same killing speed. (And it's technically 18 people since 18 is max # of people that can go inside)

Except for this case where she heals at 9:56 instead...

I think because with Rapid Fire the damage numbers are closer together so you can see if she is using any skills like DR.

She DR's before the actual animation so the only smart way to do it is to attack while she's crashed/binded or attack while she's under other attack animations.
