Because if you don't then your personal anecdotal evidence is basically worthless, especially since this is literally the first I've ever heard of this, I don't think it's been on Insoya, basically the ranks have long been assumed to be worthless.
There has been no official announcement or even hint concerning ranks, nor any code, not that I remember.

And for any manner, it was only meant to notice his carelessness. Regardless of the veracity of the claims made in that thread (which I don't necessarily subscribe to), posting a thread to prove your accomplishments at something that has people claiming on page 1 that you're illegitimate is foolish at best.

I can get that much at rank 8 (or 9, I don't even remember tbh) with a Halphas weapon and 3 Larson equips.
I used to get owned until I actually started using a strategy. Pretty sure I'm one of the few DB's in Gali who can hold their own with mages. Frankly I've never played against a good Demon Slayer. Most of them are slow and clumsy and don't know how to use their skills efficiently.

It's impossible to determine how it even works, because of so many things you have to take into account, which are never the same.

on topic, battlemode atk does not make much difference as battlemode rank does, the higher your rank the more dmg and points you will get

Take two of the same class, same level, different rank, have them PVP as unequipped as possible, then observe differences (if any) between their attacks on a third character. You could even add battle mode attack gear to even out any differences arising from ambition level. Most servers you can go in the middle of the night and not be bothered.

You can't do sample sizes, or even comparisons for that matter, unless every sample meets the exact same criteria, which is nigh impossible.

how to do this:

grab that DS.
strip it.
use normal attacks on a mule or something, find out how many hits it takes for a kill.
go pvp some more normally, and level your rank
do the strip and hit thing again.
level some more.

only way to get actual proof i say.
