I spent the last 3.5 hours or so on this and dear God I love how it turned out. That practice I was doing really paid off!

It really is, isn't it? I don't think I've drawn so much as a result of a fandom since the Powerpuff Girls days.

Seems to work a whole lot better than focusing solely on flaws and how they're ruining everything that you draw when it comes to getting some practice in. The aforementioned method typically results in "Welp, back to not drawing for 3 months!" or similar.
