Since it is probably bound to be a successor like Evan, I would say anything is possible. The original used fist, so I am hoping they keep that, but alas, my input means little. ):

Kyrin's mom is Yuris in Ellin Forest. So I don't think she'll be the hero.
Kyrin's father Testonen was the original pirate hero, however, it throws off the M.A.P.L.E. thing, it would throw the gender ratio that nexon likes off, not to mention, it's kind of mean to let Evan be the only successor, no t that he doesn't deserve it after HELPInG HIVER OUT. So I am speculating that it may be a successor.... possibly a female one.

That would be clever, but about as unlikely as it was for the Bowman Legend to have been Albatross.

wtp IS WRONG WITH ALL THE EVAN HATE/DISREGARD/DISSAPOINTED LOOK AS OF LATE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Both Evan and Mir knew NOTHING about the maple world other than henesys/their farm. They literally decided one day to go around the world helping people, being that it was what Mir wished the most. By helping a kind hearted puppet they thought the "organization" would be of good people, since it's odd to find good guys in the bad guys side, wouldn't you agree? They were told lies in each of the mission Hiver send them to do, and since there was no other way to know, Evan and Mir helped. They learned from their mistakes, gave Hiver a beating, and went on the path of revenge like Demon Slayer thanks to what happened at the end of the Evan storyline.

Freud sacrificed his life to help seal the Black Mage and hide the last Onyx Dragon Egg in the original timeline (the second one is when the adventurer hides it).

It is not possible for the Pirate Hero to be a successor, many times it is stated that the other 4 were sealed. (This could change, but so far it points to this way.)

Changing topics, there is really no way to know if Aran is male or female, right? Since the recent increase in Aran female NPCs opposed to Maha and other NPCs speaking of "him."

Dude, I make fun of every class. don`t worry. Also, I made a post in the phantom thread about the aran thing. While there is an increase in femAran sprites, the past sprite was clearly male. I believe Nexon is trying to "valerie-ize" FemAran into a promotional NPC that could be linked to Aran, and they are having some troublemaking the transition.

I think Female!Aran looks a lot better to be honest.

Male Aran looks too cutesy while female Aran looks badass.
