welllllllll..technically it IS still TespiaRolleyes But Naw nexon hates buccs. Get your fill everyone because they disappearing. I actually think they made them worse...on the other hand corsairs don't look bad at all. Unless im looking at it wrong. L>shikage takebacker rage in this thread.

There's a patch going on for KMS right now, I thought that was the revamp, but if they've only just put this out.. o_o wat

Buccs: "Our Energy charges way too slow at bosses"
Nexon: "K, so how about we make it charge twice as fast when attacking bosses?"
Buccs: "... ... Still not as fast as we'd like, but thanks, I guess."
Nexon: "Oh, and it now lasts half as long once it's charged! TROLOL!"
Buccs: "... -_-"

My other general thoughts:

Thieves:
* wtp at sudden raid delay increase. (Even more) useless pomegranate.

NLs:
*Alchemist is back ("Adrenaline"), but just the duration (no 15 min apples). Meh.

Shads:
* Still no better mobbing skill.
* Assassinate loses the CD... does this mean they just spam Assassinate at bosses? (Stronger than BS 1v1? But not sure about coin generation / ME)

Pirates:
* Speed cap increase? I'll take it!

Buccs:
* We're becoming quite the critical hit junkies aren't we?
* Energy Charge: A) Lost touch damage. Frown B) Charges 50% faster than before this revamp. C) Speed boost is nice.
* Laser: Lol... wasn't DS stronger than this before they increased the delay? :f6: Only good for range & passive?
* +15 atk is nice (+10 from charge, +5 from "Mental Clarity")
* Higher mastery is nice.

Corsair:
* Assemble Crew: 120 sec dur, 30 sec CD... I'm assuming this means you can get the one you want easier since having "4" out at once would be too awesome (especially with only 3 different summons)
* "Final Attack" looks interesting. Guaranteed to add +70% damage to every hit.
* Range increase on BOOM! Headshot is nice, but a delay decrease would make it useful. Rolleyes

If they removed the cool down of assassinate, does that mean it's a charge skill like it is now? If it is that's actually kind of a bummer, I thought actually being able to do something while assassinate's charging up to be a lot more productive than me just standing around for 5 seconds like I do now. And jeez that range increase makes it seem like they want me to hit stray mobs at bosses more often than I do now.

Assassinate might only work if you have full assassinate points charged now, so you have to use a few other skills to get the orbs to full, then you can use Assassinate. Looks like that to me at least, that'd be pretty cool if so.

You need assassinate to charge up the points though. At least you did before. Ah screw it I'll just wait for translations, too much stuff going on. And I hate that dark instinct only lasts a minute now, what a nuisance.

It's still a buff either way since our main attack is so fast.

Lost touch damage is a buff. Speed boost is meh.

DS v laser is LOL

So now we won't lost the 40 att from ST.

Higher mastery is indeed nice.

BUT IT'S NOT WHAT WE NEEDED.

Ah yes, I forgot about Demo being replaced by the new Barrage as the bossing move.

So against bosses:
* Energy charged per hit: 180 -> 700 (600 from E.Charge, +100 from Laser?) = x3.889
* Delay: 2340 ms -> 690 ms = x3.391
Total = 13.188 times faster

Okay, I take back my complaints. Biggrin

And the mastery alone is worth a +11.76% damage buff in addition to making us more stable.

Just guessing, but I think that'd be pretty fun. Not sure how Assassinate works though, as sludgepuppy said, you need Assassinate to charge up points. It'd be kind of similar to the 'old Shadower gameplay' if you had to use a variety of moves to charge up for a strong final attack.

Wait a sec guys...

In the first round of the revamp, buccs got a skill in 4th job that gave +20% Elemental / Status resistance (and some other stuff), and was labelled as "x". However, in round 2, it looks like the "x" variable not only changed value (20 -> 15), but it also changed purpose: +15% damage?! Not to mention that new variables (asrR & terR) were added, so the Elemental / Status resistance got buffed to 30%.

So this one skill alone gives us +28.53% more damage! (+11.76% from the higher mastery, and +15% damage buff)

Can't wait to try this new Viper... Ugh, soon I'll have to get used to the new ugly Energy Charge effect.
Change to Vipersition is nice. Increases 15% attack.
