When I first saw it, I had quick chuckle. It looks funny, I want it as a pet .

As for the spider one that Ian posted, that thing looks like a mix between a spider, a mantis, and a slug.

Read a wiki article on it, apparently, people does eat it. I wonder if it would taste like bug, or lobster... or maybe both?

Dude why did you have to bring up bad memories? I watched a video in my AP Bio class last year about a boy who had a fetus inside of him... They removed it and holy pomegranate it was scary and sick... I then had to eat lunch. *shudders*

Haha I know what you're talking about, but I dont think so. I remember going to a shop in HK that had those live in a tank and it didn't look like that. They actually looked like a large shrimp with a lobster tail.

Just to let you guyz know, they're actually edible and they taste a bit like lobster =P. (Think they're called Balmian Beetles or something)
They're best when steamed

And it's true about huge spiders in Australia
