But we also get 35% DR(if I remember it was changed back to 15%). So, in all fairness, its not that bad. Plus we get drain, which now heals 10%. As long as something doesn't 1hko us, we're fine. Very fine.

With the supposed cap of 9,999 def, I don't see how that's possible. Fiel also lists the cap as 30,000. NOT 9,999.
So, some of you are a bit behind on data.

It's not supposed, it's been 9,999 for at least the last few patches. My Paladin's been able to reach 9999 def since about 0.98 (since Shield Mastery triples it and I have ~3500 base def now), and you can easily spot mages with 9999 mdef in the flaunting threads.
