Should I get Genesis 30 or wait until the mini-dungeon event starts again?

Which pirate skillbook, then, would be the best choice? Picking any random pirate skillbook would be a gamble if you don't know which one to get.

I got myself a moon chair so I can be done with this event lol. Was unsure of whether to save my crystals for November (since I'd be aiming for a Gen 30 as well), but I have very limited time to play in November and getting the chair now would be a good deterrent to me from logging in daily. xD

I believe Nexon will also fix it so level 10 books are 3k and the others are 4.5k. I believe that's how it was supposed to be anyways.

The safe thing to do would be to get genesis 30 now, or risk getting screwed over later. It might pay off thought if they really do add pirate skills, as they set the realease date of pirates in november. but then again, its nexon, so who knows when pirates will be out ;o

The pirate population will still be lower than the population of Bishops. The only reason that Gen 30 costs 500mil is because the demand is particularly high.

Also, the release of pirates will mean the release of the pirate skillbooks with the appropriate monsters dropping them. It'll be long after they close the second event before we find out which skillbooks will be lacking.

That's what I think too. Nobody would be that dumb as to get a Zakum drop for 4500 rather than a HT drop for 3000.

Precisely. If Nexon reverses (fixes) this, then you'd have an even tougher time trying to get either Gen 30 OR Pirate skilbooks (assuming they're even giving out pirate skillbooks). I wouldn't gamble 4xx mil if I were you.

Buy the skillbook and then decide if you want to sell it off or keep it/use it. The only reason I suggest selling it is because the price could go down in November if they're still around and you could buy one a lot cheaper and make a nice profit. At the same time, they may not drop at all and you could be screwing yourself over.

That and because it only drops from HT, regardless of the fact that it's killed several times a day. Far as i see though, regardless of whether or not joe schmoe will even get to 4th job if you offer him 4th job books for pirates he's going to pay top dollar for them. I'm also very certain that the amount of joe schmoe wanna-be pirates are much larger than the joe schmoe lolbishop population.

Looks like Time Leap and Air Strike are the HT only books. Air Strike's 250% more damage looks more important than 10 minutes off the Timer cooldown though.

There won't be a lot of captains, so i wouldn't expect that book to be expensive for very long.

I vote get the book now. I suspect they will fix it next time and mastery books will really cost 4500 while skill books cost 3000.

So yeah get Gen 30 or TT 30 or w/e is expensive in your world. Try to take a guess at how many people are going to get the most expensive and try to sell it, sometimes the 2nd most expensive is better because it will become the most expensive if 20 books suddenly appear on the market with no increase in demand.

i'd imagine the event will have at least some different rewards to get people who already participated to come back and spend nx... theres no guarantee the books/chairs will make a return in the next patch

i cant really see the pirate books being worth much... maybe in scania you'll see a larger number of people who will steam roll/leach to 120+ but its going to be alot slower in other servers... it already takes forever to sell HT books in the other servers because there's such a small market (unless you sell very cheap and marketers buy them...)

Apparently, it is. I just checked the Nexon Website again. Notice how it says "Skill Book" under 3000 and "Mastery Book" under 4500.

I'm guessing when they reopen this, there will be no pirate books. They're most likely only going to switch the two and the rest will remain the same. That being said, get Gen 30 NOW. LoL.
