You will become popular when people decide you should become popular. You don't really have to do anything. Look at Paris Hilton.

Find someone you think is adequately popular and ask for their account info.

Find out where everyone lives who is a registered member on Southperry and proceed to kill everyone until you are the only user left on the site.
Register a new account and in the name designation box make sure you type "popular." You have now become popular on Southperry.

Two main ways really. 1 is to be a girl. In this, you can allude to being a girl and never post 100% confirmation as to your sex, or actually full out show your are a girl.
2nd is to be gay and hit on all the other guys.
