Blast's hidden 20% crit rate

really? i find it pretty interesting, and it's not like a pally will hit a huge range of numbers, considering their mastery and humongous blast crit rate.

Well yes, I found it interesting at first as well, but it gets really old after a while. Not knowing if the damage I'm dealing is really what I'm seeing is pretty irritating, and you'd be surprised how much more boring it is to play when you see the same numbers popping out of monsters over and over again. Sure the numbers change if I use different charges or equips, but that barely does anything to numb the boredom. It doesn't help that the same number, that is to say the number 1, pops out of my avatar whenever I get hit.

I love my Paladin, but it's just such a shame that one of only two useful attacks is such a pain to look at because of its lack of varying damage, and the other one is a pain to look at because of its scribble of an animation (at least this one is fixed in Jump).

The bolded i agree with, i never even thought about it that way. but otherwise i like the consistency of both the damage i do and the damage i take. makes me appreciate my class even more.

So if you hit 999999 x 3 you'd feel bad?

yes, it is, however, for dark knights, it's "too easy" in comparison to other classes, but we don't have anything that can hit more. it's our maximum damage, almost impossible to hit more than it and we can't use it everywhere because of it's fail range.

marksman however, can hit over the dmg cap <.<

Yes, but there would be a few extra reasons as to why.

Besides, I think hitting 3 million damage, the cap for Paladins, could also be cosidered "beating" the game. I don't know about you, but when I beat a game I move on to the next one. Well... that or start over using a different character build.
