That picture is actually incredible old and I'm surprised that it's still floating around. However, the picture is probably what every introduction thread needs because it's so true. I love your signature, by the way.

What I'd do without you. Tongue
Are you saying that other threads are more mean? Are you new too? If you are, welcome! Big Grin

MetaSeraphim Wrote:By the way, since Mike suggested the market for a custom user title I might as well suggest the donor status. Basically gives you bigger avatar size, bigger sig space, custom user title, access to the donor forum, and a few other things.

I'll keep that in mind! The problem is that I don't have a paypal and I refuse to use moneypak (5 dollars just to use it T__T).

Every forum has em, grammar trolls.

I don't visit welcome threads at all, I don't wanna welcome new people, I don't like change. New people are change so....*cough*.

I'm semi-new to posting. Lurker for about 2 years.

Yeah, it is not like you need it or anything. Just bonus features you can buy if you want, like in MapleStory.

If you're wondering what the default usertitles are you can find that out here:

I can post a piece of my work (poetry) if you want, but I'm not that good at it.

Feel free to do so whenever. The right/best forum for that'd be the shady tree

Well amusingly, it's kinda become an SP tradition because of how very true it is. Also, thanks! My sig pics also happen to be usable for reaction purposes.

Overall it's very nice here, just don't go "serious business mode" too much. Traditional forum pecking order still applies, where expressing very vocal/loud opinions tends to backfire on you if you're still new. Not surprisingly, it gets easier when you have a lot of posts under your belt or are an old member.

Don't worry, I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi too. It's just that my mind slipped while typing that, haha. I don't like "certain" changes either, but I just have to deal with them. I guess I've NEVER lurked here before that Cannon Shooter post, so, yeah. (:

Well, if I do get a paypal (with a bank account or something like that), I will make sure to donate for it Tongue

Sound advice you have there, I'll make sure to remember it. I've notice that this forum doesn't display any post count, is there a way to find that? Anyways, do you have an example of "serious business mode"? I tend to be very carefree most of the time.

Well no worries. Southperry really is the premiere forum for new info about different Maplestory regions and now Fiel announced he's doing EMS so that's exciting as well.

Wow, it sounds like he works very hard. I'll make sure to check this forum more than Spadow's blog then. Tongue

I can't exactly pull up some SP examples without seeming like I'm singling someone out, so I'll just have to give some general examples. Those would include writing up essentially an essay as a reponse, grossly overreacting (usually angrily) to something small, or just in general going overboard in criticism/insults that turn the thread into a flame war/massive debate and has a very high risk of getting locked.

OR

Click on your name. See post count (and other stuff). Whatever works!

That seems like an unnecessarily hard way to find post count. Wouldn't it be easier to just display it?

Anyways, I've noticed that Aizen was on your avatar. Are you a Bleach fan too? (:

I see! Well, I don't think I could write an essay with my golf-cart of thought, so I think I'll be safe on that part.

We've talked about it before and most of the forum agreed that it was unneeded to display someone's post count on their posts and such.

I do enjoy reading it. Make sure to drop by the thread in "Anime & Manga" if you want to discuss the most recent chapter with the other members.

Taiwan Wrote:Ooh. That's way easier, haha. Tongue

Ah, I should have said that but I wasn't sure if you were looking for just your post count or other people's post count.

Ah, I can see reasons on why the post counts don't display Tongue

I'll make sure to visit there once this week's chapter comes out, last week's has just been a bit "bland" to me.

No problem, now I know how to find other people's post counts AND my own Tongue
