Going to have to buy a new Crystal Version and a new Gameboy Colour due to Crystal being corrupted every other time I turn it on, and my GBC's D-pad sticks.

I'm not very happy right now.

I had that problem with my Silver. Just take apart the game, and switch out the battery; it should work.

Not just that. As far as the cart sticks out of the GBA, for some reason if it even gets lightly tapped the game resets.

Normal
Bug
Flying
Poison
....not much I could do with those.

Ok, due to my lack of knowing how to fix things, my dad switched the battery out in my Crystal version. Works fine and no longer has that issue about resetting when tapped.

Still buying a new GBC, but that's because even if I cleaned the insides, the screen is scratched to hell and back.

Hazzy Wrote:Nope. Nostalgia kicks in and I play the game almost off of memory..

I can go back to some game I haven't played in -years- and 100% it completely off memory.[/COLOR]

I started playing Red version a few months ago. It was great and nostalgia everywhere.

Well, got my new (used) GBC. Works amazingly.

Current team in Crystal is Chikorita (Lv12), Hoothoot (Lv5), Geodude (Lv2). Falkner, you're going down.

Everytime I played through Pokemon Yellow I always beat Brock with Pikachu on the first try.

I absolutely LOVE the part where you face those Ghosts who just appear as ghosts..

If only that was an actual Pokemon Sad

And remember substitution? Ohhhh, that used to be so cool..

And how most of the Pokemon looked like mini-Ryhorns as sprites?

I had a working Blue and a messed up Crystal. Took out the blue battery, destroyed the insides to Crystal. Both games lose. L>Family that's good with small electronics. Frown

My dad is a master of making things work with next to nothing. He fixed my Crystal with a piece of plastic from a part-card for a model, an Exacto knife, and some Scotch tape.

Did you check if they had the same battery type?
