I don't even get why people buy 2D fighting games anymore. It's all the same crap with just a different color of paint thrown on it. I mean, sure they all have slight differences here and there, but that's just adding extra bells and whistles to keep the horse from dying. Why would anyone buy Marvel vs Capcom 2?
It's the same crap. You pick a team of three stupid characters, with different names. You swap out your characters, and just beat the crap out of everyone. What's the point anyway? It's just a freaking rehash. It's the exact same as the crap that was released before it. A sequel remaining true to its roots while changing up the game mechanics and adding new stuff? Preposterous, why would they do that?
What's the difference between Blazblue and Guilty Gear? They have different casts and different game mechanics, but they're the same crap. Who cares about game mechanics anyway?
So yeah, agreeing with Greg here, this game is a shitty rehash. I looked on the back of the box and all I see that's new is a bunch of new Pokemon, a new area, and new protagonists, so I know exactly what I'm talking about without actually playing the game into depth. Did I mention that when I play Pokemon I play casually and quit after beating the Elite 4? Caus what's there to do after that? lol.
