Vindictus SP guild

I'm guildless, but I'm just talking in general. Hidden and Laghodessa weren't that bad and finding a competent pug raid group was rather easy, but ever since we got Blood Lord, the rate of finding such a decent pug group flat out bombed and it's extremely hard now. I've never had problems in VindNA at all until we got Ep5. It's like it brought out the morons.

Hmm...how long would waiting for like a non-raid boss take? (pug)

Yeah, though, I'd argue that hidden and Laghodessa were both terribly easy as far as raids go. The community's split into two right now, and neither is willing to accomodate eachother (usually). You have people who have no idea how to run a boss and usually don't care to learn and just zerg it. And then you have the more skilled community that don't care to explain it to newbies and kick them the second they get the chance to. I mean, the tactics for blood lord aren't even all that complicated. You just spam pala down the party line, and by the time the last person runs out, BL is already at least 2 bars away from death.

Boat 6 eases up a bit in terms of raid bosses, as they're slower again and more easy to deal with, but the game gets to be really tactics oriented as it goes on from there.

Anyways short answer is that if you have an active guild, and have members willing to learn how to boss properly, you should rarely have any problems.

@Corn
Maybe anywhere from 5-15 minutes? What level are you? I can probably help you with anything lower than the last few battles of boat 4 by myself.

Level 38ish, so I AM on the last few battles of Boat 4. Lol. Alright, if I feel like playing it, I'm redownload it to play on the weekend. If I don't, oh well.

My god 7x bars on a solo run? Wonder when there's gonna be 10x on solo runs x_x

Also REALLY expected/10 for Evie with those animations LOL

Fight looks awesome though. Can't imagine how freaking hard the raid bosses / end bosses for Ep8 will be.

I don't know if I have the motivation to still play this game. I love the fighting system, but the rest of the game is horrendously organized, planned, and executed, on top of being bland.

Best storyline of any MMORPG I have ever seen, although admittedly I haven't played that many.

As I said, I'd start playing again if the terrible hosting method wasn't such... bullshit.

Ah, a while back, maybe in the other Vindictus thread, I posted a method to better your hosting.

Edit: Here it is.

TrunksX:
Requirements: A router, a brain.
*If you already know how to port forward, skip to Step 5*

Step 1: Go to Start > Search/Run and type CMD.

Step 2: Type in ipconfig. Copy down your Default Gateway and your IPv4

Step 3: Open your web browser and put your Default Gateway in the address bar (it may ask for a password, if you don't know it then Google "Default Password [insert router type here]" If the default password doesn't work, then ask your family if they know it. As a last resort, hold down the small reset button on the router with a pen for a minute. Reconnect then try the default password again.)

Step 4: Go to the Application(or similar) tab and find Port Forward(or Port Range Forward).

Step 5: You are going to forward 2 ports. Name them both Vindictus as a reminder of what they're for.

1) Start: 27000
End: 27025
Protocol: TCP
IP Address: Type in your IPv4

2) Start: 47611
End: 47611
Protocol: TCP
IP Address: Do the same as above
Enable them and save.

This will not completely fix the decrease in your hosting performance as time goes on after a maintenance, however this does decrease the lag that results from it. Also, it will not improve your own connection in someone else's party, only everyone else's connection in your own party.
