What I don't understand about this thread is it's usefulness. You asked a question, everyone answered you, and you answered yourself with the opposite. If you knew the answer, you shouldn't have made a thread about it.

The difference between Chaos's level 130/140 sets and what we're already capable of scrolling is far too insignificant to worry about. It would take a lot of time and funding (primarily because the 140 stuff is from Empress) to be better with the DEX equips.

The main difference is we are talking about a dk here which can equip a lvl 130 fast 5 pa. That alone more than makes up for the 160 dex requirement.

I have a level 147 hero in KMS, which is post-chaos.
it is dexless.
accuracy is still level based, the miss rate is just less each level below.
like, the new rate is 1~2% each level, so me trying to hit a level 157 monster would result in 10~20% misses.

My Pally is STILL sitting at a hefty 100 base dex. He's been that since 2006 and I don't plan on reducing it any time soon.

Similar story here. Got 80 DEX on my 2.5-year-old hero, not planning on resetting it in the foreseeable future, unless Nexon surprise us with a unlimited-quantity 1k AP Reset sale.

However, I wouldn't recommend putting DEX on a new warrior. Complete waste.

Yeah, not something I'll pay to change. But it's not like the dexless build is hard to understand: every level-up, you add your points to STR. Since BB, you don't need to worry about buying acc gear or anything - you just put points into str every level. It's the easiest build around, and if you continue it until level 100, you'd still be in good shape to have 160 dex by level 130. And by then you'll have a better idea of what gear you can afford, so you can put it off even further, until 115-120.

I guess I'm screwed with my 90 capped dex then.

Like I said, I often get questions of how my damage is so high. I think it's just that I maxed Dragon Blood and Dragon Wisdom first. lol.

I dont consider it damage-hoaring, i consider it efficiency. The more damage the easier it is to 1hko higher level mobs. If you can 1hko mobs then you can train a little faster. So yeah, i want higher damage, but it's not to show off. I do it for game efficiency. My Hero was 80 base dex in 2005-2006, and i finally managed to reset it all to 4 by the end of 2007. Every little bit helps.
