What world languages do you speak/take?

I desperately want to learn more NZSL (new zealand sign language - quite different from ASL) and probably will in 2010 or 11. I learnt Latin for 11 years and come from primarily an English/Cantonese background, although I'm a very poor Cantonese speaker. I think English is beautiful, personally. Dabbled in German and Mandarin as well. Mmm I tried to learn Quenya in a society-held class last year but didn't get past the script yet... (Do we have any Klingon enthusiasts here? (Smile

EDIT: world languages...does that include the invented worlds of Tolkien? :o

I'm native Dutch and currently learning English to be a near-native speaker.
Also taking German and French at school, they suck though.

Wow lot's of people have taken Spanish here. o.O

I speak English and Spanish equally fluently. I'm gonna start taking Japanese sometime next year, and I know some Latin. Nothing much, but a tiny bit of it. Awesome lenguage. @_@
I needa learn German and Russian, since they're my native roots. ): How hard are they to learn?

German isn't that hard. Similar to English in some ways, quite a few cognates.

I speak english fluently...

I can say phrases in mandarin and cantonese. I understand a little spanish cause i took it for 3 years in High school (Senior year now =D)

and i can say the numbers 1-10 in like 6 different languages xD
