today on my morning news at school(yes they do a brodcast) they mentioned this. lol

Lol... ours didn't specifically say it was "talk like a pirate day" but made numerous allusions.

And yeah, I refuse to type like a stereotypical pirate... because 90% of us probably are pirates

They did this on my school announcements. Coincidentally, the senior mascot are Pirates. (Juniors are ninjas)
