All I play is mages, using tele is second nature, even when I'm on non magician characters I hold my tele key.

BaM = battle mage.

BaM is the worst abbreviation ever.

As far as I'm concerned, BM = battle mage and Bowmasters can go find a new abbreviation.

BM = Bow Master/Battle Mage.
DK = Dragon Knight/Dark Knight.

What reason could you possibly have to intentionally use the wrong acronym?

It shouldn't really matter if you use the same abbreviation anyway because the context of your post should give off what you're talking about.

BowM?

McAwesomesauce Wrote:What reason could you possibly have to intentionally use the wrong acronym?

How is it wrong? Is there an official guide on which abbreviation to use for each class?

Actually BaM is pretty awesome.

It can stand for not only Battle mages, but also Bad Ass Motha (in a voice similar to the character of Ecko from LOST)

Obviously not because the context of your statement was that WH and BM are comparable on the same level; therefore, it is implied that BM can be comparable to WH, either in mechanics or DPS, neither of with a Battle Mage can be.

Nexon needs to do a class rename, BM=Bow Master/Battle Mage/Blade Master

You're confusing BaM with BAMF, which are polar opposites.

Captain, we've detected a bias!

People love Wild Hunters because of their flexibility and versatility. What other class allows you to attack while moving? Or move while attacking?

I think the reason is just that a good percentage of the maple population are just immature fucks, and when they see a sabertoothed jaguar, they pomegranate themselves.

Oh god, so that's what BAM meant. I thought it was referring to Sarah's Ice Mage for a while.

Can't we all be diligent boys and girls and just type out BOWMASTER and BATTLE MAGE?

Too bad it's not like an Asian language, huh? The JMS abbrevations for classes are like :

弓 = Hunter / Ranger / Bowmaster
弩 = Crossbowmaster (all jobs)
英雄 = Hero
斬り = shadower
投げ = Night Lord

etc. etc

English abbreviations are just "..."

People in GMS shorten everything so much, there's the SAME abbreviation for about 20 different things. It's ridiculous. lol

As far as I care, people can go f'uck themselves. Type out the names for f'uck's sake.

i only use abbreviations in-game due to the text limit. in maplesea theres. pot, it can mean potions, potential or piece of time. And then theres BS, meaning bishop, not pomegranate.

It's chronological.

If you think people aren't gonna call Bowmasters "BMs" anymore, you're sadly mistaken.

Besides, BaM sounds fun and cool.

Wild Hunters have ACTUAL moving ability while attacking. You have to try the class out to understand what I mean. Dual Blades have nothing on Wild Hunters. I can literally hold down the left arrow key and attack button at the same time and mow through a row of monsters while moving across a map.
