KMS had to do Server Merges because of the population being so much split up around the horizon of pomegranateloads of servers.
Two servers were good enough, the third one coming two weeks later is totally unnecessary, a fourth? They must've lost all their common sense. Like they've had any later...

They can work on the server while the other ones are opened. Simple as that. No. We're not going to wait. It's fucking retarded.

Appearently they didnt start the server for the new world which probably takes ages to set up. This is my best guess.

Adding two servers in a patch, no problem for them.

Still bothers me why they were able to implement two with no problems. But they can't even do that with one.

I find it fitting for this situation.

Someone misplaced its power cord, and they had to send the gopher out to buy one, but the store around the corner is out, and the one on the next block charges a dollar more which Nexon would rather not pay, so he's walking to the mall out on the outskirts of town (no! we are not paying for gas or even subway fare for him!) because they got real cheap electric gear.

The new server is just a front, and 4 hours from now maplestory will open back up without the alleged new world.

It is the stupid "White Christmas Tree Event " that is across all servers that is likely causing all the problems...

Servers are popping up like maggots in a rotting corpse. It's just not healthy (and grossly unnecessary).

If all the servers are linked for the Event then if one is broken or bugged then it affecs all the servers, which is why they cant bring up all the other servers and keep Arcania off line.

This is what I was thinking. Someone didn't follow the appropriate testing/setup procedures for the hardware & cut corners along the way so things would be ready, assuming that "since 2 are working fine, this one will too!"

**Update** We are still experiencing technical difficulties with the new worlds. However, we feel the game does not need to be unnecessarily down at this point so we have concluded the maintenance with the following known issue still occuring:
El Nido and Zenith appear with incorrect names on the channel select menu. We apologize for any confusion this may cause and thank you for your patience.
